Affliction

Whenever we are going through trials and tribulations it doesn’t feel good. Sometimes we ask God why me. Instead of asking God why me, we should ask God what do you want me to learn out of this? When we are afflicted we should use this time to pray and seek God even the more.

Psalms 119:71 It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Provision

There’s no need to worry about how you’re going to pay this or pay that. There’s no need to worry about where your next meal is coming from. God knows exactly what we stand in need of.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Consistency

This is Day 5 of our Daniel Fast and our focus today is on Consistency:

In the face of persecution and trials will we be constant in our faith? Will we still say God is good when life sometimes isn’t great? Will we still profess to be Christians and live Holy when the world says we can do whatever we like?

Philippians 1:27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Security

When life seems so uncertain and our nation is at war; we can take comfort in knowing that we have safety and security in the Lord. We can take cover under God.

Psalms 91:1-16 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him,and shew him my salvation.

Faithful

Proverbs 20:6 Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?

Can God count on us to be faithful to him? We always say people are fake, I just want someone who’s real, who’s loyal, who’s faithful. Have we ever turned the mirror on ourselves and said; God I’ve been fake towards you, disloyal to you, and unfaithful to you? Or do we think it’s only other people that’s unfaithful and not us? Today we have a choice to make.

Are we going to keep giving God lip service or are we going to put action behind our words?

When we say we love God and we are sold-out for God, then our actions and behavior should reflect that.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Humility

Today is day two of the 21 day Daniel Fast and our focus for today is Humility. Proverbs 22:4 Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.

We must allow pride to take the back seat in our lives. We must stop trying to prove ourselves to everyone and humble ourselves before the Lord. The older saints use to say; may the work I’ve done speak for me. Let your works, actions and behavior speak for you on today.

We have 6pm prayer (central time) today if anyone wants to join in please call 426-436-6313 access code:738123

Smoking or Non-Smoking

We all have a choice in where we will spend eternity. Smoking or Non-Smoking are the only two choices we have to choose from. If we refuse to follow the Lord and believe in him then we are choosing the smoking section which is hell. If we stand on the word of God and believe in Jesus Christ and obey him, then we are choosing the Non-Smoking section which is Heaven. We all have a choice to make and we need to choose wisely. FOR IF WE DIE AND GO TO HELL IT’S NOBODIES FAULT BUT OURS.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

The Will Of God

When you’re in the will of God it doesn’t matter what anyone has to say about you. Stop letting people determine your path. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.

One-on-One Time with God

How often do you have one-on-one time with God? It’s good to get with saints and worship together, but it’s sweeter when it’s just you and him. Jesus knew this and therefore, he frequently spent time alone with God. When it’s just you and God you can let your hair down and be for real for real with him. There’s no wearing of the masks with him. God isn’t look for you to entertain him him. He’s looking for a pure heart. A broken and contrite spirit the Lord will not despise.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
