Wait On The Lord

Good morning. As we face uncharted waters don’t lose hope. As we deal with an unseen enemy don’t faint. God is able to do just what he said he would do. If we lose hope and faint now, what do you think awaits us? Jesus is the only answer to our problems so wait on the Lord.

Psalms 27:13-14
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

There’s Only One Way

Good morning. There’s only one way to God and that’s through Jesus. You cannot say you believe in God and don’t have a relationship with his son. The Bible declares if we get to God any other way we are robbers and thieves; we must come in at the door. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Let no one deceive you into thinking there are many different ways to salvation. If you don’t come through Jesus then you’re not saved.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It’s Something About The Name Jesus

Good morning. Have you ever wonders what’s in a name? Many names mean many different things. No matter the meaning of a name it doesn’t compare to the name of Jesus. There’s power in the name of Jesus. Demons tremble at the name of Jesus. Salvation is in the name of Jesus. If you have any doubt about his name, search the scriptures and let them speak to you.

Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

It’s Feels Good To Be Chosen

Good morning. It’s a good feeling to know someone wants you. It’s an even better feeling knowing God loves us and has adopted us. When you’re adopted that means you’re handpicked. God has handpicked each and everyone of us. We should never doubt his love for us, because God doesn’t choose anyone he doesn’t want.

Romans 8:14-15
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

Let Dead Things Stay Buried

Good morning. Our old self is gone. We are dead to our old self so let’s stop trying to revive it. Anything dead aught to be buried. We are to live in the newness of Christ. In Christ Jesus is life, so why do we want to continue to remember dead things? Let’s rid ourselves once and for all of the things that will bring God’s wrath.

Colossians 3:5-10
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

Jesus Preached Repentance

Good morning. Jesus preached a message that if we take heed we will be welcomed in his house. Jesus preached repentance. When we turn on the news and we see what’s going on in the world, it should cause us to repent. When we wake up and see the mercies of God, it should cause us to repent. When we see God didn’t kill us in our sins, it should cause us to repent. Life is filled with swift transition.

Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Good morning. When we fear the Lord like we say we do, we will depart from evil. When we look over our life our actions will let us know what we really think about God.

Proverbs 16:6
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.

Prepare Your Answer Now

Good morning. People in this world are looking for something and someone to believe in; that’s why we have so many different religions and causes in the world. We need to be prepared for when someone asks us why do we believe in a God we can’t see. We need to be able to answer why do we put our trust in Jesus Christ and await our new home with Christ. We don’t have to debate with others, but we should answer with meekness and kindness; for the Bible declares with love and kindness have I drawn thee.

1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Don’t Go To Hell

Good morning. It’s time to clean up our act. We must repent and turn from our wicked ways. If we choose not to turn from our wicked ways then hell is our home. God is not mocked and he’s not playing with us. Let’s open our eyes and see what’s going on in the world. Although we live in a nation that’s forgotten God, let’s be the remnant God can count on and use.

Psalms 9:17
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Things We Take For Granted

Good morning. The Bible declares that grace and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives. That doesn’t mean we should take it for granted. We should be mindful that if it hadn’t been for the Lord on our side where would we be. Grace and mercy are not our get out of jail free card. Jesus sacrificed his life so that we may live. So, to keep on sinning just because we have God’s Grace and mercy is not the way to live. When we are in Christ we’ve died to sin, and we should keep dead things buried.

Romans 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
