All Nations Will Experience The Day Of The Lord

Good morning. Will we be ready when Jesus calls our name or when he returns? This is a question we must ask ourselves daily. The Chicago Mass choir sung a song entitled ” I pray we all be ready”. God loves us so much that he’s allowing us time to get ready. For the Bible’s declares that warning comes before destruction. Prepare to meet the Lord now while you have a chance.

Obadiah 1:15 The day of the Lord is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.

Trouble Will Reveal What’s On The Inside

Good morning. Trouble allows us to know what’s really inside of us. It will reveal our character, our integrity or lack there of, and our fear. So, when trouble comes we will act like who we really are.

Proverbs 24:10
If you falter in a time of trouble,
how small is your strength!

Prepare To Give An Account

Good morning. Contrary to popular belief God is huge on accountability. I know we like to say; I’m grown, and can’t nobody tell me what to do. That’s neither true on earth or when we stand before the Lord. No matter how grown we are we still have to give an account to someone. Whether it’s our boss, spouse, the government, our many organizations we are apart of, and ultimately God. Not only will saints have to give an account but sinners will too.

Romans 14:11-12
It is written:”As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

Do We Want Wages or Do We Want The Gift

Good morning. Whenever we go to work we expect for our jobs to pay us our wages. In fact, if our wages are wrong we go and rectify the problem because we’ve worked hard to earn a living. In reading the scriptures, the Bible declares the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is everlasting life. In this world people will choose to have wages over gifts. But, we are not of this world so we have a choice to make. Do we want to receive wages or do we want to receive the gift?

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Push Through

Good morning. No matter what you’re going through push through it. The Bible declares that this is but a light affliction and that you’re blessed when you persevere through trials. When it’s all said and done you will receive your crown. So hold on and see what the ends going to be.

James 1:12
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Everything Should Point Back To God

Good morning. God is going to deliver all who puts their trust in him and take refuge in him. When we speak to our relatives, friends, co-workers, etc., and they began to speak fear and doubt; we cannot agree with them. We have to let them know about the God we serve. We must urge them to get a relationship with Jesus. In this season we are in everything must lead back to Jesus. We don’t have to worry about the wicked for God will take care of them. We just have to keep our focus on the Lord.

Psalms 37:39-40
The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

We Are In The Lord’s Care

Good morning. There is no need to fret or fear. We are under the Lord’s care. We will not lack anything. God is a man of his word and we can always give God his word back to him. So, if you’re feeling anxious it’s ok to tell God that his word says; that he won’t never leave us nor forsake us. It’s ok to tell him his word says; that he will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory. He already told us his word cannot go out and return unto him void, it must accomplish what he set it out to do.

Psalms 37:18-19
The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

Are You Ready To Grow

Good morning. God never intended for us to be stagnant in any area of our lives. We should welcome change and growth. To grow, means we have to be willing to put away past behaviors and thoughts and learn a new way of doing things. We should be like babies and cry out for it. Growing in the natural is good, but it’s even better to grow in the Spirit. Once we experience growth we show crave more of it.

1 Peter 2:1-3
So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.

Greater Is He

Good morning. Our hope is built on Jesus Christ. As we continue to watch the world events unfold before our eyes; be patient and keep praying. Let’s not forget the power and authority we possess because the Holy Spirit lives within us. When we feel anxious, tap into the Holy Spirit. When fear tries to creep in, tap into the Holy Spirit. When our patients begins to run low, tap into the Holy Spirit. There is no need for us to walk around with hung down heads; for greater is he that’s in me than he that’s in the world.

Romans 12:12
Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.

Don’t Act Like Other People

Good morning. In these troubling times we are not to fear what other people fear. Neither are we to think about conspiracies like other people think. We are to trust in the Lord and fear him. None of this has taken God by surprise. Even with everything that’s going on, God will never leave us nor forsake us. Continue to pray, seek his face, and turn from our wicked ways.

Isaiah 8:11-13
This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people: “Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
