Don’t Take The Bait

Good morning. When we allow Satan to get under our skin and we don’t seek the Lord, we’re asking for trouble. We cannot respond to Satan but in the name of the Lord, even the angels understand that. When we react to the enemy without a response from the Lord our actions will affect everyone connected to us. We know the proper protocol when we have to face the enemy. The proper protocol is to seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven. The proper protocol is to cast our cares on the Lord. The proper protocol is to be anxious for nothing but with prayer and supplication let our request be known to God. The proper protocol is to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. We cannot allow Satan to bait us into sinning against God, too much is at stake and too many people are depending on us.

1 Chronicles 21:1-3
Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the people of Israel. So David said to Joab and the commanders of the army, “Take a census of all the people of Israel—from Beersheba in the south to Dan in the north—and bring me a report so I may know how many there are.”
But Joab replied, “May the LORD increase the number of his people a hundred times over! But why, my lord the king, do you want to do this? Are they not all your servants? Why must you cause Israel to sin?”

Victory Belongs To The Lord

Good morning ladies. No matter what we try to do to our enemies we won’t succeed if God doesn’t step in. God is the one that keeps our enemies at bay or allows them to advance against us. Our hope can’t be in our fighting ability or in our weapons. Our hope is in the Lord; the all powerful, all seeing, all knowing and all righteous one. When we see our enemies fall, know that victory belongs to the Lord.

Psalms 44:5-7
Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me. You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us.

Rooted And Grounded In God

Good morning. Being saved and accepting Christ is great; now we must be rooted and grounded in God. We become rooted and grounded in God when we study his word daily and have a prayer life. It’s important to be rooted in God so that we won’t be tossed by every wind and doctrine. We will be able to stand on the truth. The more we delve in the word of God, the more we find ourselves in the word and we find ourselves repenting and wanting more of God. As long as we’re alive, we are going through a process of learning more about the Lord and the more we learn the more our faith is built in him.

Colossians 2:6-7
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

Blessed Are The Pure In Heart

Good morning. We have to serve God wholeheartedly. We cannot have one foot in Christ and one foot in the world for the Bible declares; I rather you be hot or cold because if you’re lukewarm I’ll spit you out my mouth. When we can’t make up our minds if we want to serve the Lord or not we make him sick and nauseous. In reality, when we’re wavering between two opinions about serving the Lord we’ve already made a decision and that’s to be friends of this world. Let us not fool ourselves into thinking we’re going to heaven if we’re friends of this world.

Matthew 5:8
God blesses those whose hearts are pure,
for they will see God.

Can’t Nobody Do Us Like The Lord

Good morning. First God will speak a thing and then we will see the manifestation of it. Whatever God has spoke into your life, whatever promise he has given you, hold on to it and be expecting it to manifest. We know that God does things in his timing therefore, we should always have a spirit of expectancy. We don’t know when God’s going to do it but we know he’s going to do it. When don’t know when God is going to show up in our situations but we know he’s going to show up. And this is the beauty of it all; no man can undo what God does in our lives. Can’t nobody do us like the Lord. Can’t nobody save us, redeem us, heal us or pluck us out of God’s hand. For he is God and God alone.

Isaiah 43:11-13
I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is no other Savior. First I predicted your rescue,
then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. You are witnesses that I am the only God,” says the LORD. “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”

Don’t Miss Your Shot

Good morning. Our skills, talents, and abilities doesn’t guarantee us that we will come out on top every time. For we can be the best at what we do but if we’re disobedient to God we will surely fail. God allows time and chance to happen to everyone and it’s up to us what we do when opportunities present themselves. Do we seek God and ask for directions or rely on other people’s opinion? Do we rely on our talents, skills and abilities and leave God out of the process? We never want to miss our shot for whatever it is God has for us. Therefore, we have to stay in right relationship with him. We have to seek God daily. We have to walk with him and talk with him; and the more we’re in his presence and being obedient to him and his word, when opportunities arise we will be in the right place at the right time.

Ecclesiastes 9:11
I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.

There’s Nothing Too Hard For God

Good morning. No matter what we face in life, God can handle it. No matter what situation we bring before the Lord, he can fix it. God created this world and he knows the ins and outs and all that’s going on. We have to always remember who God is, what God can do, how powerful God is, the authority God has and know without a shadow of a doubt there’s nothing too hard for God. This should put peace in our spirit. Knowing when we cast our cares on the Lord he can and will handle it.

Genesis 18:14
Is anything too hard for the LORD?

Anchor Yourself In The Lord

Good morning. No matter what is going on in the world our souls must be anchored in the Lord. When our souls are anchored in the Lord people can’t make us step outside the will of God. To keep our souls anchored in the Lord we must communicate with him daily. We must read his word daily to nourish our spirits. The saying is true: “Whatever we put in us will come out of us.” When the Holy Spirit resides on the inside of us we will respond to people with the spirit. If the world is inside of us, then we definitely are not anchored in the Lord and we will respond with flesh. We cannot let sin rule in our bodies.

Psalms 119:61
Evil people try to drag me into sin, but I am firmly anchored to your instructions.

We Can’t Serve Two Masters

Good morning. This world is not our home. We shouldn’t be attached to things of this world, neither should we love this world. We are commanded to love the people of this world and that’s what we should do. When we choose this world over God we have stepped into dangerous territory. The Bible declares we can’t serve two masters; we’re going to hate one and love the other. We have to make it up in our minds who are we going to love. There is no more sacrifice for our sins. Jesus paid the ultimate price. He showed us what love really is. Therefore, how we choose to respond will show him who we really love. Let’s not turn our backs on the Lord and give the world everything and in return end up in hell. We have to give God our all.

1 John 2:15-17
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Don’t Join Sinners In Hell

Good morning. Our lifestyles should silence the naysayers. People that bring accusations against us should be ashamed because when they examine our lives they should find that our lives are lining up with the word of God. Our goal is to win souls to Christ, not join sinners in hell. Although we are free in Christ we still have a standard to uphold. Our freedom in Christ is not a license to sin. Therefore, we should examine ourselves daily to ensure we are living the word and holding up the blood-stained banner of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:15-16
It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you. For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil.
