About the Founder
Tereasa Brown is anointed and appointed by God. She is the Pastor of Spread the Word Ministries of Kansas.  Tereasa has preached and ministered to souls all over the world, in the US, Afghanistan, and Japan. She preaches and teaches the word of God without compromise. She has a heart for people and loves the word of God. She is known as a preachers preacher. Tereasa’s passion is seeing souls healed, delivered, set free, and saved. Through her preaching, teaching, and books, Tereasa provokes you to take an inventory of your life so that you can recognize where you need to come up higher in God. She is truly Kingdom minded. Tereasa was born and raised in Chicago, Il she is the youngest of three sisters. Tereasa served 10yrs in the US Army and one tour in Afghanistan in the Operation Enduring Freedom in the war on terrorism. She became a licensed minister in Mar 2004 , an Ordained Elder in May 2009 and began pastoring in September 2017. Tereasa is the author of On Your Best Day, You’re Well Enough To Die, Don’t Love Me To Death: When Teenage Dating Becomes Deadly, The Lord is Speaking, But You Might Not Like What He’s Saying, Woman2Woman: A Conversation Between Friends and Keeping it Real: The Different Masks We Wear In The Church. Tereasa earned a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. Tereasa is a nationally certified victim advocate in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. She is certified in Child Physical/Sexual abuse, and she is a certified Domestic Violence Offender Treatment Specialist. She advocates for men and women that are in abusive relationships and have been victims of sexual assault; along with victims of human trafficking/smuggling and child exploitation.
