On today we celebrate all of the Veterans, past and present. Many of our Veterans have given their all and have sacrificed much. They’ve spent numerous days and hours away from love ones. They’ve missed countless birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, babies first steps, births of their children, etc… And ultimately many of them have given their lives.
It makes me mad when people who have never served one day in the military, think they know what’s best for the military. Non-Veterans don’t have a clue what it cost for them to roam freely, they take for granted that someone died in order for them to do what they do. They murmur and complain, yet they are not willing to make such a sacrifice.
I guess we all treat Jesus like that. We murmur, we complain, we take life for granted, we act as if no one died for our sins and freedoms; yet none of us are willing to die for each other. None of us are willing to sacrifice all, especially for people we don’t like or know.
So, what will you give to this world? What mark will you leave? Will you sacrifice anything or will you murmur and complain until the day you die?
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
