The bible says; the blessings of The Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow. So when people prophesy to us that God’s going to bless us with a house, car, money, land etc… Is it really a blessing from God?
I’m asking this because I was wondering when I get the house and car, did God just bless me with debt? Or did I just bless myself with debt? When I get the money, did God just bless me with the money, with a job that I work so many hours that I can’t enjoy the fruits of my labor or did I just bless myself and knew from the get go that this job would take all of my time but I get paid a lot.
If it’s truly God’s blessings, then why do we work so hard to keep it and why do we worry so much about affording it.

This is a very interesting post because (in my opinion) most of the things that people call “blessings” are not really blessings at all. They’re just “conveniences.” And (in my opinion), many are not “blessing,” at least not from God. When God blesses us, it’s for His glory and it’s not about us. Anything that takes our eyes off of God and onto ourselves is probably not of God, but the enemy trying to distract us, through the things of this world, to get out eyes away from God. When we begin to value our houses, cars and even our education over God, the enemy is winning the battle between the physical and the spiritual realm. The enemy wants us to live in the physical realm. However, as spiritual beings, we are supposed to live in the spiritual realm.
