The Wrong We’ve Caused

Many of us has had someone to do us wrong and we are still holding those people hostage looking for an apology. Well, we can stop looking for it, because it’s never coming and release those individuals. Just like we are looking for an apology, someone is looking for an apology from us. Have we ever stopped to think of all the people we’ve wronged? All the people we’ve caused heartache and headache. All the people we’ve never apologized to.

We are quick to illuminate someone else’s wrong but want to hide ours in a closet. We are quick to blast out on social media what someone else has done to us, but try our best to cover up our wrong. We have some apologizing to do. We have some people we have to get it right with. And, don’t go to them and say; if you think I’ve done anything wrong to you. No, we already know we’ve done wrong; so be a man or woman about it and say; look, I’m wrong. I messed up, I lied, I cheated, I screwed you over, I blasted you, I put your business on front street, I’m the reason people don’t like you, etc…

We want to hold other people to a standard that we are not willing to live up too. We want the harshest treatment possible for them when they mess up; but, when it comes to us we have the woe is me syndrome. Pride is what’s keeping us from righting the wrong. The bible says; pride comes before a haughty fall. We need to let our pride go, and get it right. Would you rather hold on to your pride and not be in right standing with God or let your pride go and be pleasing in the Lord’s sight?

Get right church and let’s go home.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
