Know Where You’re At

This morning when I left work at 3am I went to the ATM to get my son some money. I had not a care in the world. I left my car running and was not watching my back to see if someone was going to rob me, shoot me or rape me. When I got back in my car I thought; if I was back home in Chicago this wouldn’t have happened. My son would have been broke going to school today. But, where I live we don’t have to worry about any of this. Crime is not a factor in our everyday lives. I know I can only have this mindset while I’m living in this part of the world. I know where I’m at.

So, this brings me to my point. Do we know where we’re at in Christ? Do we know what areas in our lives are falling short? Do we know what areas in our lives have been stolen by the enemy?

I want to get to the point in Christ where I don’t worry about a thing. I want to get to a point in Christ where I don’t watch my back from church folk, family members and the enemy. I want to get to a point in Christ where I let God be God and stay out of his business. In some areas of my life I already do this, but in other areas of my life I’m failing miserably. I want the total package in Christ. His word says I didn’t give you the spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind. I know where I’m at, do you know where you are?

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Where Art Thou

In the book of Genesis God asked Adam and Eve where art thou, when they where hiding, because they were naked.

Has God had to come looking for you? Has he had to ask you, where are thou in your praise & worship? Where art thou in your giving? Where art thou in your unconditional love?

God should never have to ask us where art thou like he did Adam and Eve. Instead, he should be able to brag on us like he did Job. He should be able to say; have you considered my servant. My servant will praise me in-spite of. My servant will give in-spite of. My servant will love in-spite of. I don’t have to look for my servant, I know where they’re at.

Do you know where you are at? Where art thou.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
