When The Lord Opens Our Eyes

Do you know someone that’s in a bad relationship, hangs with the wrong crowd, or is headed for a road of destruction? No doubt, you’ve tried to talk to them but it’s like talking to a brick wall. You and everyone else can see what’s going on, but the person that’s in the situation seems oblivious to what’s going. In actuality, you are really fed up but you know if you walk away, then they really wouldn’t have anyone in their corner. Don’t give up on them!

If they stop doing what they’re doing or stop being who they’re with right now because of something you said; they will start back doing it, and they will go back to that person. Not only that, if things start falling apart because they followed your advice, it’s your fault. Never mind they were in a tumultuous relationship, or the handwriting was on the wall that they were going down; they will always blame you. It’s in these times that all you can do is pray that God opens their eyes.

Besides, don’t get mad because you maybe was once the same way, and it wasn’t until God opened your eyes to what was really going on, that you wised up and changed your atmosphere. You’re angry because you know all too well the path that they are on and you’ve been delivered from that path. However, everyone eyes are opened at different times; God’s time. Just when God opens their eyes, be sure they can still see you. Be sure they can see support and not sarcasm. Be sure they can see a friend and not more foolishness.

It’s not for you to open their eyes, it’s for God to open their eyes; for it’s only God that restores sight to the blind.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
