Pain

All of us has experienced some type of pain. Whether it’s physical, emotional, or psychological. Nevertheless, we didn’t die in our pain.

My knee hurts so bad, that it swells up at night and burns awfully bad, however, I can’t stop walking, I can’t stop working. No, although it hurts extremely bad, it hasn’t killed me and I have to keep living until my change comes. Whether it’s a knee replacement or something else.

Pain let’s you know what’s inside of you and it lets you know just how much you can bear. Sometimes when you’re in pain it seems as if you’re not going to make it and that this is the end. But somehow, someway you always manage to take one more step, to make it one more day; and look at you now. You’re much stronger and wiser.

No matter what type of pain you are in, you have to keep living. You can’t allow the pain to cloud your judgement, and yes, even in your pain you have to trust God. Even, when it feels like God is no where around or it seems as if he’s forgotten about you, trust him.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Trust & Believe

Before we can believe a word that’s in the bible, we have to trust that God is who he says he is. We get the evidence that God is who he says he is, by our experiences and the testimonies of others.

Growing up, I knew there had to be a God because people would get shot up and live. We would say they had nine lives. We would be at the basketball court and all of a sudden a shootout would happen. Everybody hit the pavement, when it was over; everyone would get up and check themselves to make sure they didn’t get shot. I didn’t know it back then, but God was building his trust with me way before I even opened a bible.

When we look back over our lives and we think things over, we can trust and believe that God is a man that cannot lie nor a man that can repent. He could have taken us out of this world a long time ago but he told death to step back and behave. Who wouldn’t trust a God like that!

Trust and believe if God said it, he will do it.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

God’s Will Be Done

Have you ever prayed for something but you didn’t want God’s will to be done you wanted your own will to be done?

So, God decided to let your will be done and gave you everything you asked for. You thought to yourself great! God is awesome! You even went as far as to testify about it.

Right after you testified and came to yourself, you found out that you really didn’t want your will to be done and that you are sorry that God granted your request.

We have to be careful what we ask for because we might just get it and don’t like it.

From now on let’s pray God’s will be done and not our own will. God knows what’s best for us even when we are living in the moment and we think we can make the right sound decisions concerning our lives.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I’m Right Here

Yesterday I took my children mountain bike riding. As we were going up the hill we had to push hard and at times we had to get off the bikes and walk them up the hill.

On the way down the hill my youngest daughter became scared because gravity was pulling us down. I told her don’t pedal just pump the breaks.

As we continued down the hill I was right beside her and she began to call out mommy in a frantic voice. I said I’m here, I’m not leaving you on this hill. My son kept saying come on don’t be scared, but my daughter just kept crying out mommy, mommy, mommy. No matter how many times I told her I wasn’t going to leave her that didn’t stop her from not trusting that I would get her safely down the hill. It took us a while to get off that hill because of her doubt, fear and unbelief but once we got down she tried to speed off and leave me.

How many of us are like my daughter? We cry out to God and he says I’m here, I’m not going anywhere; however, we don’t trust him to get us out of every situation. Sometimes when we are going through things and it feels like we are falling we have to pump the breaks and listen to God’s voice coasting us out of the situation. It may take a while but God is true to his word. Once God delivers you, don’t be like my daughter and try to speed off and leave God now that you have come through your trial because another one is just around the corner.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Lead Me Lord

When we ask God to lead us do we really want to follow him or are we saying lead me because that’s what church people say?

What happens when God begins to lead us in uncomfortable situations or lead us right out of our comfort zone?

Do we still desire to follow him or do we want to turn back? Truth be told some of us want to pump the brakes, catch our breath, and say Lord what’s up with this, you do know where you’re going right. You do understand Lord I am right behind you and I don’t know where we are going, I have no clue where you are taking me.

Asking God to lead us can be scary but he has our best interest at heart. He won’t lead us anywhere that he can’t sustain us. Everything in us may want to turn away but this is the time that we have to sticker closer to God.

For if we turn around we are not fit for the Kingdom of God or fit for the Masters use.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

They said vs. God said

They said you wouldn’t make it.
God said you’re more than a conqueror.

They said to throw in the towel.
God said to run on and see what the ends going to be.

They said it’s a dead situation.
God said I am the resurrection.

They said it won’t work.
God said all things are possible.

They said bye and left you lonely.
God said I’ll never leave you nor forsake you.

Instead of listening to they, let’s listen to God. For, do we even know who they are? We always know who God is.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

His Hands Are Bigger Than Mine

Stop trying to hold things in your hands, Gods hands are much bigger and better. His hands have a way of making things alright no matter how detrimental the situation looks.

In my hands my child is just nurtured but in Gods hands my child is delivered.

In my hands debt is paid monthly but in Gods hands I’m debt free.

In my hands money just pays for things and is put into the offering tray at church but in Gods hands it rebukes the devour for my sake.

In my hands the situation seems to be just enough but in Gods hands the situation provides more than enough.

So take everything out of your hands today and place it in Gods hands and watch Him work miracles.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
