My youngest daughter and I were talking tonight and she said; what would you do without me in this house? She said there would be no humor in here. I quickly replied, I’m funny. She said, to God you may be but not to me. We both started laughing, but she said something so profound.
The only thing that matters is what God thinks of you and me. It really doesn’t amount to a hill of beans what other people think. If God thinks I’m beautiful, I don’t need anyone to tell me I’m beautiful. If God thinks you’re mighty, who cares if someone thinks you’re not all that. When God raises you up and brings you out, don’t look for anyone else’s approval. God is the approving authority in and on your life, not people.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
