Time

How many of us put off things until tomorrow because we got time? Do we ever stop to think that something may happen between today and tomorrow and cost us our time?

I can pay the bill today but I got time so I will pay it tomorrow. Later today I got into accident so it will cost me my time tomorrow and now I don’t have time to pay the bill, now I have a late fee.

I can start working out today but I got time to do it tomorrow. Later today I felt myself getting sick, so tomorrow I won’t have the time to go workout because I have to nurse myself back to health.

I have time right now to give my life to Christ but I will wait until Sunday to do it. Later on today my soul was required of me and all of my works came into judgement, so tomorrow I won’t have time or another chance to get it right.

Let’s stop taking time for granted because we never know when God will call our names for the last time.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Hurry Up!

How many times do you find yourself telling someone to hurry up? They know what time you told them to be ready and yet they wait to the last minute to get ready.

First you get mad, then you think about leaving them or you do leave them to show them that when you say be ready that means be ready.

Well we need to hurry up and get ready because God said he’s coming back but he didn’t tell us when. However, he did say in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. That could be anytime now.

Rest assure, when he comes back he won’t get mad at you if you’re not ready, he won’t give you another hour, minute or second to get ready. He will just leave you.

That is one ride you don’t want to miss. Your airfare has already been paid. So hurry up and get right with God. Confess your sins, repent, confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and live each day like you belong to him.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Hold On

Have you ever called on God and He said hold on? And in the midst of you holding on you hung up because it was taking Him too long to get back to you. Did you say to yourself I don’t have time to wait? Therefore, since you didn’t have the patience to see what He had to say, you went out on your own and found yourself on a path of destruction.

When you hung up did you try calling Him back to see why he had you on hold that long or did you say, I’m not calling Him back because He likes to put you on hold too long.

Did being put on hold hurt you or help you? Did you realize when you hung up that time was going to pass anyway and that as long as you were on hold God would eventually return back to the call?

Don’t be so quick to hang up the next time God puts you hold, hold on and wait to see what he has to say, when He finally answers it will be worth the wait.

HOLD ON!

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing

You Just Never Know

How many of us wake up in the morning and really know how our day is going to go? We may think we know or we may have some idea of how we would like it to go but we just never know.

You just never know when the phone rings what’s going to be on the other end. You just never know if you will get off that phone call happy, mad, disappointed, confused or in tears.

You just never know that when you started dating that person that they would turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you or that you would have to run for your life.

You just never know that your boss has been watching you and decided to promote you ahead of your peers or fire you for taking paper, pens, and supplies home.

You just never know that while you are in fairly good health all of a sudden your health fails without warning.

See I just never knew so many good things and bad things would happen to me in life but at the end of the day I would still have joy. I just never knew two years ago February 27, 2012 I would undergo heart surgery at 37yrs old. I just never knew I would write out my own obituary just in case I didn’t make it. I just never knew that I had to think about who was going to care of my children and grandchild  if I departed this world too soon.

The only thing I did know was that I gave my life to Jesus and I didn’t wait until I got sick to recognize I needed the Savior. So since we just never know, how about we choose to give God our life today because today could be the day that our soul is required of thee.

You Just Never Know.
