Take A Little Time

The bible says we are to be helpers one to another. So, why is it so hard for us to take time out of our day to help someone else? It doesn’t hurt to give someone a ride; especially if you’re going the same way. It doesn’t hurt to get out of your bed and go give someone a jump; your car may be the next to break down. It doesn’t hurt to cook a little extra, just in case your neighbor may be on hard times and their kids just happen to be at your house when dinner is done. I know time is precious, but if you do it unto the least of them, you’ve done it into God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Running Out Of Time

This morning I woke up extremely late but I still had some time to get ready for work. While I was rushing to get ready I was thinking; Lord stay the time so I won’t be late. I made it to work just in time. All of us are running out of time with where our souls will spend eternity. We don’t know when Jesus is returning and we can’t afford to wait to get it right. If you knew your soul was required of you today, would you be ready? Don’t waste your time, running out of time.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Why Not You

You applaud everyone else. You support everyone else’s success. So why don’t you feel like you deserve success of your own? Why don’t you feel like you don’t deserve to be blessed? Time and chance happens to us all. And maybe just maybe it’s your time now.

So, when God tells you now is the time for you to be blessed, you don’t need confirmation or a second opinion. When God tells you he’s moving you from the back to the front, you don’t need confirmation or a second opinion. When God tells you he’s been hiding you, and now it’s time to present you as his own, you don’t need confirmation or a second opinion. Quit seeking confirmation! You will miss your time, chance and blessing.

Think about the slap in the face you give God, when you don’t take him at his word the first time he says something. What more does he have to do to let you know he’s only looking out for you? You know you hear God telling you, NOW is your time. NOW I’ve called you forth. Let go of your fears and insecurities, and step out on the word of God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

There’s Still Time

On this New Year’s Eve there’s still time for you to make good on your promise to God. Everyone is talking about God still has until 11:59 tonight to keep his word, what about keeping your word?

There may have been a prophesy spoken over your life this year, but did the prophet tell you that it came with conditions? No, probably not. So let me help you out. Whenever a word is spoken over your life, ask God, what is it that I am suppose to do in order for this to come to pass. Yes, I said ask him. Because we be in church and when the word goes forth, we become emotional and the prophet of the house and the hour never goes into depth as to what your part is. They just always say what God’s part is.

Throughout the bible you will find where God told the people if they did this thing, then he would do that thing. For example, 2 Chronicles 7:14 says if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.

Have you done your part, so that God can do his part? It’s not too late.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Sleep On It

Has someone ever asked you to do something and immediately without hesitation you said yes or no? Never giving a thought to what you just agreed or disagreed too. The next time this happens, sleep on it before giving them an answer.

When you sleep on it, it gives you a chance weigh the pros and cons of committing or not committing. It gives you a chance to see what’s in it for you. It gives you a chance to really see how people will act if they think you’re going to answer in a different way than they thought.

When Jesus was sleep on the boat and the storm came, the disciples said does he care if we perish. It’s not that Jesus didn’t care, but you get to see a persons true colors when they get in a bind or a tight spot. Besides, they asked you for help, therefore, you are entitled to sleep on it.

Maybe just maybe, when you sleep on it and they say never mind; they’ll find out that they really didn’t need you. They just needed to discover what was inside of them.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Don’t Give Up On God

So God hasn’t answered your prayers yet; that doesn’t mean he’s not going to answer them. It means he’s taking his time. I know it seems like God is in no rush, you are so right with your assumptions.

Before you throw in the towel, wait to see what his answer is going to be. What you have to understand is; God has already put an expiration date on your problems and he will not allow your problems to expire not one second, minute or hour before time.

While you’re waiting on God to answer; pray, fast and study your word. God is preparing you but while he is preparing you; he is also providing for you. So, the wait is not as bad as you think.

Now is not the time to give up on God. Now is the time to grab hold of God like never before.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

This Is Not The Time

Have you been questioning your faith and are ready to throw in the towel? This is not the time!

Have you been thinking about turning your back on God because he seems to not be listening or answering your prayers? This is not the time!

Have you stopped going to church because you are going through something? This is not the time!

Whatever it is that life has handed you and you don’t like it, don’t throw in the towel, don’t leave God, and continue to surround yourself with the saints.

Don’t give up on God because he won’t give up on you. He’s able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Quality Time

How many of us get to spend real quality time with our family?

Many times I feel like I’m always on the go and pressed for time. Well today I got to spend some real quality time with my aunt. We went to our favorite store, I cooked us dinner and I even got her to go bike riding with me.

Do you consider Jesus as part of your family? If so, how much quality time are you spending with him? Are you always pressed for time when it comes to prayer or reading your word?

Today, fine some time and spend some quality time with Jesus.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Make Sure You’re Never Too Busy

Every morning I start my day with a run. No matter how tired I am, no matter how much my body hurts or no matter where I’m at in the world I go running before I do anything else for the day. While running I’m praying and seeking direction from God. God is talking to me and instructing me.

As my day goes on I find that I’m too busy for everything. I eat my food and don’t pray for my food until after I’m back in my car going to another meeting. When I think about reading the word I decide to send an email that’s pressing. When I feel like it’s time to pray, I find myself calling someone I forgot to call back. Just when I think I can settle down and relax, my kids need me, they need me to go to the store, help with homework, pick them up etc…
As I began to get ready for bed I find myself to tired to pray.

I realize this, I cannot afford to miss my morning talks with God because it helps me throughout the day. I can imagine my days being chaotic if I didn’t take the time out to spend with God.

So no matter what is happening in your day, make sure you’re never to busy to talk to God, to praise God, to thank God, to magnify God and to lift up his holy name.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Do You Really Want To Know

We’ve all said hello how are you doing to someone; but did we really want to know how they were doing? Many times we expect them to say fine and we keep it moving.

When was the last time you’ve asked someone how they were doing and you found yourself talking to them for hours? When you walked away you may have felt overwhelmed, confused, or grateful that you’re not experiencing what they are experiencing and perhaps you may have said I really didn’t want to know all of that.

Well it’s good to know that God really does want to know how we feel. He’s not going to be phased by what we tell him. He’s not going to even think that we are taking up all of his time. Honestly, he welcomes open communication.

Now if you happen to ask him what he thinks about your situation you must first ask yourself, do I really want to know, can I handle the answer God is about to give me, will I be able to receive it once he tells me what he’s going to do?

So then, our prayer should be Lord prepare our hearts and minds for the people we encounter today and for the answers you will give us concerning the questions we ask you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
