A Premeditated Praise

How many of us think about the praise were going to give God? Do we recount it over and over in our minds?

When something is premeditated it is thought out carefully. A plan is put into action to see it come to pass.

Well when I look back over my life and I think things over I began to plan out my praise. My plan is quite simple, in fact it will get me caught. See every time I here the name Jesus I’m going to praise him, no matter where I’m at, morning, noon or night.

Every time I think about how it could have been me, I’m going to praise him.

Every time the phone rings and it’s not the coroner on the other end saying we need you to come and identify a body, I’m going to praise him.

When you’re up on charges for something that was premeditated you’re liable to be found guilty. Now when you premeditate something, your sentence is much harder because they say you thought long and hard about what you were going to do

Well the prosecutor will try to give you a plea deal before you go before a judge, but in this case don’t take the plea. Don’t care if you’re found guilty. This is one sentence you will want to serve.

I know you’re saying you get the death penalty for premeditation. Well I’m here to tell you to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord.

Are you willing to be found guilty of a premeditated praise or are you going to take the plea deal?

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Re-gifting God

Have you ever received a gift that you didn’t like or want? Or perhaps, you just didn’t have a use for it. Instead of being rude and saying that you didn’t want it or like it, you decided that you would put it in another box and wrap it pretty to give to someone else. This is called re-gifting.

It cost you nothing and maybe you made someone else happy with something you didn’t want.

See in the bible many people didn’t want the gift that God presented to them so he was re-gifted to the Gentiles and they seized the opportunity.

Today many of us are re-gifting God because we don’t want to abide by his ways. We feel we have no use for him right now since nothing too bad has happened lately so we put him in a box, make it look pretty and give it to someone else.

We don’t care that the gift cost more than we could ever afford, and that careful thought went into this gift, and since we didn’t pay for it we have no problem letting it go.

The next time God offers himself to you as a gift think twice before you just give him away.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
