The bible says; a man that doesn’t take care of his own household is worse than an infidel. Today we see this all too much, where a man will take care of his current girlfriend’s or wife’s children but not take care of his own children. We see where a mother will take care of a man, but leave her children to take care of themselves. How is it, we’ve become ok with not taking care of our family to please a man or woman? How is it, women are trying to out dress their kids to get attention from their daughter’s boyfriend? How is it, men think hustling is still the way to go? We’ve become a sad people when we see this behavior happen and we don’t try to help change our community for the better.
Our young men sag their pants because they see adult men sag their pants. Our young girls dress provocatively because they see their mother trying to get their boyfriend. No one is teaching our young boys where sagging really comes from, and no one is teaching our young girls that you don’t have to sleep with a man or put on skimpy clothes to be somebody in life. When we have strong homes and families, we have strong communities. We can’t blame the media for the lack of care within our communities. When we train up a child the way the bible teaches us, then when they get old, they will not depart from it. Nowadays, we are training up our children the way society says to train them, and our communities are going to hell in a hand basket.
