You Don’t Know My Story

Before we put our mouth on another person we need to know their story. People look at each other and try to size them up, without knowing anything about them. Unless we were raised with that other person, we really don’t know their story; we only know what they tell us. Does putting our mouth on people really make us feel that good? It’s funny how we can talk about other people, but when the tables are turned we want to fight and the first thing we say is; they don’t know anything about me. This should help us to keep our mouths shut. The bible says; touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm. When we put our mouths on people, do we know if they are God’s anointed or his prophets? If they are are, then we have to go against God, and that’s a fight we can’t win. So, it’s best to get to know someone; instead of talking about someone.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

That’s Not How The Story Ends

You may be going through something and it may seem as if the whole world is against you. No matter how hard you try, you just can’t seem to make anything work. Now you’re at your wits end and you have given up, you’ve thrown in the towel, you’ve realized whose truly in your corner and you don’t know where you stand in your faith in God. Actually, you’re right where God wants you. Now that you’ve come to the end of yourself, God doesn’t have to compete with you for his glory. Now that you’ve come to the end of yourself, God can be God.

Your story doesn’t end with you broke, busted and disgusted. Your story doesn’t end with you being defeated. Your story ends with you being an overcoming. Your story ends with you having more than enough, with you having the victory, with you increasing your faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

So, no matter what the story looks like now, in the end you win.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

You Don’t Know My Story

Everyone has a story, that’s what gives them their testimony. However, everyone thinks their story is more important than the next persons story. That’s why when you go to church and sit next to the thieves who try to steal your praise, they think your story is irrelevant. Therefore, they want you to sit down and stop praising God.

The only difference between your story and the other persons story is, you decided to praise your way through your story. No matter how bad your story got, you trusted God. No matter how much you wanted to throw in the towel, you gave one more praise. It was that praise that allowed you to run on to see what the ends going to be.

And since your neighbor sitting on the row next to you don’t understand that, they don’t want you to praise. They don’t understand how you could trust God and your spouse has left you. They don’t understand, how you can praise God when the person you trained for the job is now your boss. They don’t understand, how you keep telling people of the goodness of God when you are barely making ends meet.

So, the next time you go to praise God and the thieves in church start looking at you; tell them, there’s a story behind my praise but I don’t have time to tell you. Then praise God like he’s already made a way. Praise God like he’s restored everything that the palmerworm, the cankerworm and the locust have eaten up. Praise God, like you’re living in the overflow. When you think about it, people really don’t need to know your story. All they need to know is that you have a charge to keep and a God to glorify.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Hear The Whole Story

Many of us jump off the deep end before we hear the whole story. One thing we have to realize is, there are three sides to any story. There is our side, their side then there’s the truth.

Before we go telling each other off and cursing each other out we need to hear the whole story.

How many people are in jail because they didn’t get the whole story and acted on one part of the story? How many people left the church because they got only one part of the story? How many families have been destroyed because they only heard one part of the story?

The bible says: let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Before we act, let’s get down to the truth.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
