The Promises Of God

The bible says the promises of God are yea and amen, if this is the case, why don’t we believe them? Yet we choose to believe the promises of man and they fall through the majority of the time.

Starting today, we are going to stand on the promises of God and take him at his word. No more discounting God because man says something else.

We have to ask ourselves, where was man when we were on our way to a burning hell? The answer is probably, man was helping us pack our bags for the trip.

Now that we know better we are to do better.

I Ain’t Going To Be Able To Do It

One day somebody wanted me to pray but because of the atmosphere we were in I wasn’t allowed to pray in Jesus name. Therefore, I told them I ain’t going to be able to do it.

My old boss wanted me to work overtime without the pay. I had to tell him, I ain’t going to be able to do it.

A guy wanted to date me but he couldn’t tell me when the last time he went to church, what type of relationship he had with The Lord and what his goals were in life. I had to tell him, I ain’t going to be able to do it.

We have to be able to stand for something or we will fall for anything. We have to know and be able to say what it is we will and won’t do, or people will take advantage of us and cause us to compromise our beliefs.
