You Don’t Always Have To Respond

Sometimes people just say things to see how you’re going to respond to them. You need to shock them and not respond. Pay them no mind. Just like Jesus did when they brought him the woman caught in adultery. He just was writing on the ground, finally he said; he without sin cast the first stone. It’s amazing to me how people live right for one day then want to highlight everyone else’s sin.

When people start talking about other people’s sin, I just think that could’ve been me, but God. When I see people snap and commit homicide, I think that could’ve been me, but God. When I see people out of their mind, I think that could’ve been me, but God. Instead of responding to the people that bring you negativity, start praising God in their face. Praise God that it’s not you. Praise God for delivering you, praise him for snatching you out of the enemies hand and saving you from hell. I guarantee if you do this, people will stop bringing you foolishness because that’s not the response they were looking for.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

There Is A Sound

Parents know the sound of their children’s cries. There is a cry our children can make and we tell them; you better be quiet before I give you something to cry about. Then there’s a cry our children can make, that makes us stop dead in our tracks, drop what we’re doing and go see about them.

Jesus is the same way. There is a sound we can make, that Jesus says that’s my child and I need to see what they want. The sound of worship makes makes Jesus respond. The sound of his word makes Jesus respond. The sound of praise makes Jesus respond. There is also a sound that makes Jesus keep us in our situations a bit longer. The sound of murmuring and complaining. The sound of disobedience. The sound of undermining authority.

What sound are you going to make today? Will the sound get Jesus to respond, or will the sound get Jesus to react? There is a grave difference.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Don’t Dialogue With The Enemy

How is it you have a hard time believing God but you will constantly talk to the enemy?

Do you talk to the enemy because you are convinced that God cannot deliver you? Or do you talk to the enemy because it takes God a while to answer you?

The more you have a dialogue with the enemy the less you trust God. You already know that the enemy comes to still, kill and destroy. So, why keep willingly giving him your stuff, your home, your children and your life.

Break off the relationship with the enemy and start pouring your heart out to God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Do You Really Want To Know

We’ve all said hello how are you doing to someone; but did we really want to know how they were doing? Many times we expect them to say fine and we keep it moving.

When was the last time you’ve asked someone how they were doing and you found yourself talking to them for hours? When you walked away you may have felt overwhelmed, confused, or grateful that you’re not experiencing what they are experiencing and perhaps you may have said I really didn’t want to know all of that.

Well it’s good to know that God really does want to know how we feel. He’s not going to be phased by what we tell him. He’s not going to even think that we are taking up all of his time. Honestly, he welcomes open communication.

Now if you happen to ask him what he thinks about your situation you must first ask yourself, do I really want to know, can I handle the answer God is about to give me, will I be able to receive it once he tells me what he’s going to do?

So then, our prayer should be Lord prepare our hearts and minds for the people we encounter today and for the answers you will give us concerning the questions we ask you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
