Company Is Coming

When we know company is coming over we clean up our house. We don’t like for people to see things out of place. We make sure the kitchen is clean so that our guest are not afraid to ask for a glass of water. We make sure the bathroom is spotless, because you know they’re going to want to use the bathroom.

Some of us have unexpected company , and we might have to clean up while they’re there. We say; they should have called first. Well, what’s going to happen when the trumpet sounds and Jesus cracks the sky?

Will our spiritual houses be clean? We won’t have time to clean up. We won’t be able to say; Jesus you should have called first. Jesus is calling now, but many of us are not answering the phone. We are not opening the door of our heart. The ultimate company is coming to our house and sadly, many people will not be ready to receive him and let him in.

Don’t get caught with your house out of order. It will not be beneficial to you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

The Storms Coming

Tomorrow the typhoon is suppose to hit us, so everyone is making preparations today. In making all of these preparations I wonder how many of us are preparing our souls as well.

Have we asked for forgiveness, have we repented, have we loved with all of our hearts? It’s funny how we store up water, batteries, flashlights and so on; and we take our souls for granted.

The older generation use to sing there’s a storm out on the ocean and it’s moving this ole way and if your souls not anchored in Jesus then you will surely drift away. Isn’t it something how the meteorologist can predict when the storm is going to hit, but they cannot predict how our souls are going to fare after the storm.

I think today is a great day to get your soul right and no matter what the storm brings; whether death, destruction or both you know without a doubt that your soul is anchored in the Lord.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Have You Heard The News

Many times when statements start off with; have you heard the news it’s never good. It means something bad has happened or worse someone has died.

We all know that Jesus is coming back one day and he is giving us a chance to get our acts in order. He is giving us a chance to get a relationship with him.

When he cracks the sky it will be too late to say; have you heard the news. It will be too late to repent, it will be too late to get a relationship with him.

Another thought, if you died before Jesus came back and you weren’t ready; we will be saying have you heard the news, they died without giving their lives to Christ. What a tragedy that would be.

So the news report today is, Jesus is coming back one day, it could be today, it could be tomorrow, no man knows the day nor the hour. Will you be ready?

Have you heard the news!

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Change Is Coming

Ready or not change is coming. Whether it’s in your spirit, your job, your house etc…, there will be change.

Many people don’t like change and fight against it because they are afraid of the unknown. However, there are some people who welcome change and can’t wait for it to happen.

Then there are those people who know a change needs to happen in their relationships, jobs, finances, etc…, but they refuse to do anything about and wonder why they don’t see any progress.

Whatever your feelings are about change get ready for it, just like time, change comes whether you want it or not.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Ready To Serve

When you gave your life to Christ were you doing it just so you would be saved or did you do it to be saved and serve the Kingdom of God?

See when I signed up for the military I signed up to get out of Chicago, avoid college, and hanging on the block. I never thought that I joined the military to serve my country. Then we got attacked and life got real.

I found out real quick that I joined the military to serve in whatever capacity the Commander in Chief needed me to serve.

It’s the same way in the Kingdom of God. When you give your life to Christ, you’re saying Lord I’m ready to serve in whatever capacity you need me to serve. I’m a soldier in the Army of The Lord.

So stop thinking you’re just saved to avoid hell. You are saved to help advance the Kingdom of God. For after you have been converted go strengthen thy brother.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
