Do You Love Me

Do you go around acting like Jesus is not enough for you? Do you feel like you need something more than Jesus? Has Jesus ever had to ask you, do you love me, do you trust me, will you do my will?

For many of us, Jesus has had to ask us ; do we love and trust him. Why is that? Could it be, we say one thing with our mouths but we do another thing in our actions. Could it be that loving Jesus means caring for the poor, and we’re only worried about me, myself and I. Could it be, trusting him means taking our hands and mouths off the situation.

Do you love me? That’s something to think about, especially; when Jesus has to ask us that question.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Asking All These Questions

Today I decided to take off work and spend the day with my grandson. While we were getting ready for the day, he began to talk to me and tell me all about his friends. When he finished talking, I started asking him questions about what he just told me. He answered my questions, then all of a sudden, he started singing: asking all these, asking all these questions, why you asking all these questions. Did I mention he’s only 3yrs old.

I started laughing and the Holy Spirit said; that’s what you do. The Lord begins talking to you and telling you things but because you won’t take him totally at his word, you be asking all these questions. I was like WOW!!! And a child shall lead them.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Do You Really Want To Know

We’ve all said hello how are you doing to someone; but did we really want to know how they were doing? Many times we expect them to say fine and we keep it moving.

When was the last time you’ve asked someone how they were doing and you found yourself talking to them for hours? When you walked away you may have felt overwhelmed, confused, or grateful that you’re not experiencing what they are experiencing and perhaps you may have said I really didn’t want to know all of that.

Well it’s good to know that God really does want to know how we feel. He’s not going to be phased by what we tell him. He’s not going to even think that we are taking up all of his time. Honestly, he welcomes open communication.

Now if you happen to ask him what he thinks about your situation you must first ask yourself, do I really want to know, can I handle the answer God is about to give me, will I be able to receive it once he tells me what he’s going to do?

So then, our prayer should be Lord prepare our hearts and minds for the people we encounter today and for the answers you will give us concerning the questions we ask you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

This Is A Test

When we were in school the teacher would say, clear your desk and take out two pencils. You are about to take a test, this test is timed once the time runs out I will ask you to put your pencils down and turn your test in. If you have any questions about the test please ask the teacher and don’t disturb anyone around you. You are not allowed to look on anyone’s paper, keep your eyes on your own paper. Are there any questions?

Well God has all of us on a timed test. We can’t look at anyone else’s test because they have a different version. However; we can ask him all the questions we need too. The good thing about the test is that it’s open book.

Now as you know, open book test sometimes are harder but you do get through them. Hopefully you like to read because if you don’t it’s going to take you forever. God is so good, he even gives us different versions of the book so that we can understand it on our level.

Lastly, if for some reason you happen to fail the test, no worries he has a retest for you. You don’t even have to sign up for it, he will automatically sign you up. Now once the final test of life is given and your time is up he’s either going to say; Well done thy good and faithful servant or Depart from me ye workers of iniquity for I never knew you.

Best wishes on your test.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
