Be Still

How many times have you heard The Lord say be still? While trying to be still your mind begins to wonder and the enemy begins to play tricks with your mind.

It’s true God does answer in his time and it always seems as though he takes a long time when it comes to you; however, when it comes to someone else it seems as if God shows right up.

We have to practice being still because we are always use to doing things or trying to fix problems.

Being still doesn’t mean sitting down, it means taking your hands off the situation and letting God handle it.

Being still means you won’t make a move until God answers you no matter how long he takes.

Being still means sometimes you are going to have to hold your peace and let God speak for you.

Being still is easier said than done but if you want to see the salvation of God, and if you want him to prepare a table in the presence of your enemies, I suggest you make every effort to be still.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

This Is Not The Time

Have you been questioning your faith and are ready to throw in the towel? This is not the time!

Have you been thinking about turning your back on God because he seems to not be listening or answering your prayers? This is not the time!

Have you stopped going to church because you are going through something? This is not the time!

Whatever it is that life has handed you and you don’t like it, don’t throw in the towel, don’t leave God, and continue to surround yourself with the saints.

Don’t give up on God because he won’t give up on you. He’s able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Pressure

Why do we crumble under pressure? Is it because we don’t want to go through anything too hard, or is it because we feel that we should never have to go through anything to get where we need to be?

Consider this;
– rice gets placed in a pressure cooker
– olives are pressed to produce olive oil
– grapes are crushed to produce wine
– a diamond doesn’t just appear beautiful at first, it’s put through a lot of pressure
– meat is placed over an open flame, then is poked and prodded until the blood and all other impurities come out of it before it’s served

Yet none of these things come from under the pressure until they are ready to be presented in its final form it was created for.

So likewise, God will allow us to be placed under pressure, pressed out, crushed and put over an open flame until all of our impurities come out, then he will present us in our final form and the world will know we have been with the master because we don’t look like the pressure we’ve been under.

So do despise the pressure.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

It’s Not Your Turn

Why do we find it hard to celebrate others when it’s not our turn? It seems as if we always have something negative to say when the spotlight is on someone else.

We need to learn how to be happy for others when it’s not our turn. We need to help make others moments so enjoyable and memorable that every ounce of jealousy leaves our thoughts, hearts, and souls.

When it’s your turn you want people to celebrate you, so give them that same courtesy.

Have you ever thought about why it takes so long for your turn to come? Could it be your attitude and God is just saying you are not ready for your turn so get to the back of the line and wait? Could it be you’re jealous? Could it be you just don’t want to see anyone else happy?

Only you know why the way you are.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Hold On

Have you ever called on God and He said hold on? And in the midst of you holding on you hung up because it was taking Him too long to get back to you. Did you say to yourself I don’t have time to wait? Therefore, since you didn’t have the patience to see what He had to say, you went out on your own and found yourself on a path of destruction.

When you hung up did you try calling Him back to see why he had you on hold that long or did you say, I’m not calling Him back because He likes to put you on hold too long.

Did being put on hold hurt you or help you? Did you realize when you hung up that time was going to pass anyway and that as long as you were on hold God would eventually return back to the call?

Don’t be so quick to hang up the next time God puts you hold, hold on and wait to see what he has to say, when He finally answers it will be worth the wait.

HOLD ON!

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing
