You Didn’t Die For Me

Stop giving people power over you who didn’t die for you. Stop hanging on to every word they say like it’s the gospel. Stop allowing them to be your life support. Stop thinking you can’t make it without them. People will try to make you a puppet in their world just to benefit them. Once you no longer allow them to pull your strings, they will have no more use for you. Stop bending over backwards to please people who didn’t die for you. You don’t bend over backwards to please God and he died for you. When you look to people more than you look to God, you make those people your god. So if they didn’t die for you, don’t live for them. Live for God and in living for God, you will be living for you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Obedience

Many of us will tare into our kids if they disobey us, yet we disobey God on a daily basis and want him to give us grace and mercy. As adults we feel as though we should not have any consequences for our behavior. Then when God allows us to suffer, we say why me. The bible says if you’re going to suffer, make sure it’s for righteousness.

Many of us are suffering because of disobedience. We refuse to do what God has asked us to do. We refuse to live by the word of God. All we want to do, is the part of the word that makes us feel good. Feeling good won’t get us into heaven. God said, obedience is better than sacrifice. Just like we don’t accept our children being disobedient. God doesn’t accept us being disobedient. So, let’s obey and shut the enemy down with our obedience.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Expect The Great

This is the year of release and I’m expecting God to do some great things in my life.

On June 1 I’m starting a 30day Daniel Fast.

I’m asking all of you to fast with me and then comment on this blog as to the great things that God has done and is yet doing naturally and spiritually.

This Fast takes obedience if we are going to expect the great.

Let’s get everything God has for us in this season.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Just Ask

The bible says we have not because we ask not. As I was driving home yesterday God told me to email a certain individual and ask him to give me his car. In my mind I was like what? Then God said, what are you afraid of; you have not because you ask not.

Later that night I emailed the individual and asked if he had a car they wanted to give away. The individual asked why and what was going on. I explained that my daughter is graduating high school in a few days, I have three children, I’m raising my grandson and I’m a single parent. He replied right back to the email and said yes I have a car to give you but you have to put it in your name by tomorrow , and could he hold the car until Saturday due to some errands he had to run. Of course I said yes.

Today I met him and we transferred everything in my name and he explained how God told him to give the car away, he tried giving it to two other people and they didn’t respond. He then tried to get rid of it at the junk yard just to get the car out of his name but God quickly reminded him to give it away. Then I was obedient and did what God told me to do and ask.

Needless to say, this car has everything and it only needs two tires replaced. It’s going to my daughter as a graduation present. No car note, insurance is paid up for the year and it has all the bells and whistles. Had I not been obedient to the voice of God I would have missed out on my blessing and I wouldn’t have anything because I didn’t ask.

So the next time God tells you to open your mouth and ask, do it! You never know what he has in store for you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Lord I Ain’t Trying To Hear That

Has God ever told you to do something and you didn’t really want to do it ? You might didn’t say Lord I ain’t trying hear that but your actions said it.

Did he tell you to forgive someone that did you wrong and you said, Lord, I ain’t trying to hear that?

Did he tell you to bless someone that he know you don’t like and you said, Lord, I ain’t trying to hear that?

Did he tell you to cook for a spouse that speaks horrible to you and you said, Lord, I really ain’t trying to hear that?

Did he tell you not to give up on that wayward child after you know you’ve done the best you can do and this child has cost you much and caused you so much heart ache and pain and you said, Lord, I ain’t trying to hear that?

Well hear this says The Lord:
If you don’t forgive men of their trespasses then I won’t forgive you.

Bless those that curse you and pray for them that despitefully use you.

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink; for thou shalt reap coals of fire upon his head, and The Lord shall reward thee.

Children are a gift from The Lord; they are a reward from him.

You might be saying I ain’t trying to hear that. But the day you hear the Lords voice harden not your heart.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

His Hands Are Bigger Than Mine

Stop trying to hold things in your hands, Gods hands are much bigger and better. His hands have a way of making things alright no matter how detrimental the situation looks.

In my hands my child is just nurtured but in Gods hands my child is delivered.

In my hands debt is paid monthly but in Gods hands I’m debt free.

In my hands money just pays for things and is put into the offering tray at church but in Gods hands it rebukes the devour for my sake.

In my hands the situation seems to be just enough but in Gods hands the situation provides more than enough.

So take everything out of your hands today and place it in Gods hands and watch Him work miracles.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Don’t Rock The Boat Baby

Has God told you to do anything and instead of obeying Him you ran away? Not knowing that running away would not only cause problems for you but for those that are around you. Has God ever told you to bless someone and perhaps you felt that God must have made a mistake because that very person didn’t deserve to be blessed because you know their lifestyle?

How many boats have you rocked and innocent people became casualties of your disobedience because they didn’t have on life vest and you were not honest enough to tell them you are running from God?

If you have ever rocked the boat and didn’t realize you took casualties with you, repent and get busy doing the work God gave you to do and stay obedient to God.

From this day forward when someone always want to be around you, ask them are they running from God and do you need to put on your life vest for if they rock the boat baby you may fall overboard.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing
