Love

Love is an action word. When someone says I love you, there needs to be some action behind it. When Jesus said he loves us he died for us. Now that’s love.

Nowadays, when people say they love us; it comes with drama and headaches. That’s not love, that’s foolishness. To love someone means you take the bitter with the sweet. Never mind how they act, because you haven’t always been on your best behavior either. However, you love them unconditionally. I’m not saying you have to agree with everything they do, but you need to be there to pick them up when they fall, applaud them when they do good, know who they are when they fail, and share with them when they succeed.

We throw the word love around unconsciously, and don’t understand why people don’t believe us when we say it. It’s because our mouths say one thing and our actions say another. Stop telling people you love them if all you’re willing to bring to them is drama and foolishness. But if you’re willing to stick by them no matter what, then tell them I love you. I love you to life. I love you with agape love. I won’t do anything to harm you. I won’t always agree with you, but know I will always love you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

A Mother’s Love

A mother’s love is similar to Jesus’ love. She will go through hell to save her children. She will love them unconditionally; sometimes, when her children want to do things their way she’ll never say a mumbling word.

A mother’s love will except her children back with arms wide open; even after they’ve walked out rudely. She won’t say I told you so, but she will say let’s pick up the pieces.

A mother’s love won’t help you do wrong and will chastise you when you do wrong. Her love will reward you when you do right. She will make you feel like you are the only child she has even if you have siblings.

A mother’s love is what a child longs for and needs.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Do You Love What You Do

Do you love where you work, what you do for a living and what you do in your personal time?

I love my job. I feel as though I have the dream job. I get to travel all over the world, the pay is great and you can’t beat the housing arrangement.
I also love preaching and teaching the word of God and writing books.

See I decided a long time ago that I would love what I do because it makes doing it easier. When you love what you do nobody has to make you do it.

See you love getting your check, nobody has to make you go pick it up. It should be that same way with everything.

If you’re in a job you hate, keep that job and quietly look for another one you can love.

If you’re in a church that you don’t like, don’t leave, seek God and ask him to change your heart and mind then if he gives you permission to leave run like never before.

If you look over your life and find that you don’t love anything you do, take an inventory of yourself and get to the root of what makes you so unhappy.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

That’s Just How Much I Love You

We’ve all heard the famous song What’s Love Got To Do
With It, but have we really thought about the love of Jesus Christ?

He loves us so much that he died for us even though he knew we would betray him.

He knew we would someday use his name in vain.
He knew we would someday treat him like a sugar daddy.
He knew we would someday use him name to get money unworthily.
He knew we would someday mistreat each other and say it’s in his name.

Yet, he said, those are my children and I am willing to die for them, go to hell for them, then go to my father and intercede on their behalf.

Yes! He loves us just that much.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Re-gifting God

Have you ever received a gift that you didn’t like or want? Or perhaps, you just didn’t have a use for it. Instead of being rude and saying that you didn’t want it or like it, you decided that you would put it in another box and wrap it pretty to give to someone else. This is called re-gifting.

It cost you nothing and maybe you made someone else happy with something you didn’t want.

See in the bible many people didn’t want the gift that God presented to them so he was re-gifted to the Gentiles and they seized the opportunity.

Today many of us are re-gifting God because we don’t want to abide by his ways. We feel we have no use for him right now since nothing too bad has happened lately so we put him in a box, make it look pretty and give it to someone else.

We don’t care that the gift cost more than we could ever afford, and that careful thought went into this gift, and since we didn’t pay for it we have no problem letting it go.

The next time God offers himself to you as a gift think twice before you just give him away.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Hard To Love People

Do you know someone that’s hard to love? No matter how nice you try to be they always have something negative to say. Sometimes you may find yourself going above and beyond to show that you love and care for this person. You prefer to love them from afar or just not deal with them.

Well have you ever thought that you were hard to love? That no matter what goes on you always have something negative to say. Have you noticed anyone going above and beyond to show you that they love you and care for you?

Well imagine this! At one point we were hard to love but Jesus went above and beyond to show us that He loves us and cares for us.

No matter how negative we were, He said I love you.
No matter how much we complained, He said I know the plans I have for you.
No matter how much we resist Him, He said behold I stand at the door and knock.
No matter how much we try to fight, He said why kick against the prick
No matter how much sin we’ve committed, He said it’s not my will that none should perish.

So before you decide to completely shut that person off because they are hard to love, think back when God could have cut you off but instead said I come that you might have life and that more abundantly.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing

So before

There’s a blessing in the storm

When the storm comes it unearth some things whether good or bad, but in any case we have to look at it for what it is and deal with it. Well when storms are raging in your life, look at the good that it’s bringing out of you and thank God that you still have some good left in you. But then look at the bad that it’s bringing out of you and thank God he loves you enough to show you yourself  and decides to give you a chance to get it right.

In actuality we need the storms so that we can see what’s in us that we would have never seen if the storm didn’t come.

How do you know that you are a survivor if you never had to be in a situation to survive.  From now on, never look at the storm as a terrible thing but look at is as a blessing that would have never happened if some things were not unearth in your life.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing
