Everything To Jesus

Do we really give everything to Jesus or do we only give him what we can’t handle? The Lord doesn’t want you to try to figure things out because he’s already worked it out. He sees what you’re going through, but he’s waiting for you to come to him. Jesus wants you to dialogue with him. No matter how small or big the problem. When we give everything to Jesus, it helps build our faith. My youngest daughter had to sing at church today but she had a sore throat. She didn’t want to go to church. I told her; pray and ask Jesus to heal her throat and when it’s her turn to sing her throat will be fine. She was skeptical, so I asked her; do you believe in God? She said yes. Then I asked her; do you believe Jesus is depending on you today to minister to the people? She said yes. I said well this is your first test of faith. Pray and believe God will do it for you. She followed my instructions, and needless to say, she rocked. She sang and yes I said sang, unto the glory of God and her throat was fine.

What things in life are trying to stop us from giving Jesus our everything? Just like my daughter wanted to let a sore throat stand in her way, what are we letting stand in our way? We need to always remember there’s nothing, I mean absolutely nothing to hard for God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Jesus

Sometimes situations and circumstances are so dire that we don’t even have the strength to pray. Sometimes situations and circumstances doesn’t call for long drawn out prayers, they cause for one word. Jesus! There’s power in his name. Demons tremble at his name.

When you’re at work and things start going wrong, just say Jesus. When you’ve done all that you can do, just say Jesus. When the doctor gives you a bad report, just say Jesus. When your mother and father forsake you, your best friend is nowhere to be found, your love one walks out on you, your child is missing, just say Jesus. In the midst of it all Jesus will give you peace. He will wrap his loving arms around you and hold you in the midnight hour. He will comfort you when words aren’t enough. He will heal your mind, body, heart and soul.

With all of this madness going on in the world, we should be calling on Jesus continually. We need to plead the blood of Jesus over our children, our family, our co-workers, our minds and thoughts. Now days, people are on the edge and they are one action away from making the headline news; sinners and Christians alike. So, those of us that are of a sound mind and our relationship is built on a firm foundation, let’s lift up our sisters and brothers and help them lift Jesus. On your commute today, pray for the other driver, the other person on the bus, train or plane sitting next to you. You don’t have to know what they’re going through, just know they are in a situation that calls for Jesus.

There’s nobody like Jesus.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

A Mother’s Love

A mother’s love is similar to Jesus’ love. She will go through hell to save her children. She will love them unconditionally; sometimes, when her children want to do things their way she’ll never say a mumbling word.

A mother’s love will except her children back with arms wide open; even after they’ve walked out rudely. She won’t say I told you so, but she will say let’s pick up the pieces.

A mother’s love won’t help you do wrong and will chastise you when you do wrong. Her love will reward you when you do right. She will make you feel like you are the only child she has even if you have siblings.

A mother’s love is what a child longs for and needs.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
