Trust & Believe

Before we can believe a word that’s in the bible, we have to trust that God is who he says he is. We get the evidence that God is who he says he is, by our experiences and the testimonies of others.

Growing up, I knew there had to be a God because people would get shot up and live. We would say they had nine lives. We would be at the basketball court and all of a sudden a shootout would happen. Everybody hit the pavement, when it was over; everyone would get up and check themselves to make sure they didn’t get shot. I didn’t know it back then, but God was building his trust with me way before I even opened a bible.

When we look back over our lives and we think things over, we can trust and believe that God is a man that cannot lie nor a man that can repent. He could have taken us out of this world a long time ago but he told death to step back and behave. Who wouldn’t trust a God like that!

Trust and believe if God said it, he will do it.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Helpless

Are you going through anything and you just feel helpless? Does it make you sick that there’s nothing you can do about the situation? Is this situation making you rely on others and they really can’t help you either?

Well God has you in the right position. You can’t rely on no one but him. He’s going to get the glory out of this situation. Don’t get mad at the people you’ve been relying on and they can’t help, God designed it that way.

Feeling helpless doesn’t mean you have to be hopeless. It’s a good thing you can’t help out your situation because, truthfully; you would mess it up even greater and you still will have to rely on God.

In your hour of helplessness lean on God like never before. Stop talking about your situation to people who can’t do anything about it and keep it between you and the master.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I’m Down but Not Out

Looking at the current situation you are facing one would think you should just throw in the towel. But something on the inside is telling you don’t give up.

When people are on the outside looking in they always have advice on what you should or shouldn’t do.

Tell yourself I may be down but not out. I have Jesus on my side and he wouldn’t put more on me than I can bear.

Don’t you start having a pity party or allow someone else to make you have a pity party.

When pity tries to creep in turn it into praise

When sorrow tries to creep in turn it into singing

When hopelessness tries to creep in turn it into healing

When depression tries to creep in turn it into dancing

This will cause the enemy to look at you and say I thought you were down for the count and you can reply I’m down but not out. There’s more than meet the eye when you look at me.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
