Waiting For Everyone To Come Home

Tonight I decided to wait up for all of my kids to come home. Normally, if I’m tired I’ll send a text or call them reminding them of curfew then I go to bed.

Jesus said it’s not his will that any of us perish. He’s giving everyone a chance to come home before he returns, but sadly many are going to miss curfew and in hell will they lift up their eyes.

Jesus calls and sends text everyday, however, many people don’t answer calls they don’t know and don’t respond to unfamiliar text messages.

But this doesn’t stop Jesus from waiting for his children to come home. You may have kids that have gone astray, don’t give up on them. Pray for them, and pray that they don’t miss curfew. Also, when they do come home, rejoice and be thankful and grateful that God kept them alive long enough to make an intelligent decision to come home on time.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Home Sweet Home

I’m so happy to be back home. While I was gone my daughter had a car accident, my grandson scraped his knee and the volcano erupted. I was trying to locate my kids to tell them to get in the house and shut off the air conditioner so the ash wouldn’t affect them. Thank God for friends you can call when you’re not able to be there. Everything was handled in a matter of a text message. Truly there’s no place like home.

It feels the same way when you give your life to Christ or you return from your backsliding ways. You’re home! There’s no place like being in the ark of safety in God, and when you couldn’t pray for yourself, God sent a text to someone to pray for you.

Just know, whenever you leave home whether naturally or spiritually; there’s nothing that can take the place of home.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Today I’m Coming Home

I’ve been away on another business trip and I called my kids this morning to say, today I’m coming home. I forewarned them because I wanted my house in tip top shape when I arrived.

I arrived home before they did only to find lights left on, dirty clothes everywhere, trash not emptied, etc… My first instinct was to go check them out of school and make them clean my house, then suddenly I was reminded; God is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkles.

We all got some spots and some wrinkles that we need to get washed out and ironed out. Just as I forewarned my kids, Jesus has forewarned us.

Have you heard the news? Jesus is coming soon. Get your house in order.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

The Journey Home

On this journey home to heaven we will encounter some difficulties, hardships, heartaches and some happiness.

When the hard times come it makes us want to quit the journey and give up. When times are happy it makes us want to stay on the journey no matter how long it is.

I just took a long journey overseas and we hit turbulence but the pilot didn’t stop, he didn’t give up, he put on the fasten your seatbelt sign and kept it moving. Eventually we made it through the turbulence and landed safely.

So when turbulence comes to you on this journey, buckle up your seatbelt of praying, fasting and reading the word and watch God bring you through it and allow you to land safely.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Don’t Like My Spiritual Siblings

Many of us have natural siblings and sometimes we find it hard to get along but at the end of the day we know that we are family so we work it out.

In the church we have spiritual siblings and when we don’t get along we tend to forget we have the same father. Many of us cannot even worship our father because we have allowed what we feel about our spiritual siblings to get in the way. We even go as far as leaving the body of Christ because we don’t like them.

How is it we can allow one person to make us kick ourselves out of the family? We don’t leave our natural families to go look for a new one; we go tell on them in hopes they will get in trouble and something will change.

So, instead of leaving your spiritual family, tell Jesus all about in hopes he will change the both of you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
