How Much Do You Sacrifice

We’ve all told someone how much we’ve sacrificed for them. How much money, time and effort we’ve spent on them only for them not to appreciate the things we do for them.

Well God sacrificed his only son for our salvation and yet we don’t appreciate it. We don’t appreciate his love, his grace and mercy, or nothing he does for us.

Yet we continue to use him as an ATM, treat him like a ginny in the bottle, then dismiss him when we have our temporary satisfaction.

So, see we haven’t sacrificed anything for anybody. When we’re ready to give our life so that someone else can live then we will have the right to talk about how much we’ve sacrificed. Until then let’s thank God for giving us such a great gift, SALVATION!

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Re-gifting God

Have you ever received a gift that you didn’t like or want? Or perhaps, you just didn’t have a use for it. Instead of being rude and saying that you didn’t want it or like it, you decided that you would put it in another box and wrap it pretty to give to someone else. This is called re-gifting.

It cost you nothing and maybe you made someone else happy with something you didn’t want.

See in the bible many people didn’t want the gift that God presented to them so he was re-gifted to the Gentiles and they seized the opportunity.

Today many of us are re-gifting God because we don’t want to abide by his ways. We feel we have no use for him right now since nothing too bad has happened lately so we put him in a box, make it look pretty and give it to someone else.

We don’t care that the gift cost more than we could ever afford, and that careful thought went into this gift, and since we didn’t pay for it we have no problem letting it go.

The next time God offers himself to you as a gift think twice before you just give him away.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
