Fear

All of us have fear of some kind. Some of us fear failure, while others of us my fear being alone. Some of us may fear losing a job, while others of us fear becoming successful. Job said; the thing I feared the most has come upon me.

How has fear guided your life? What have you done or failed to do because fear gripped you to the point that it paralyzed you? When fear pops up, put the word of God on it. No matter how many times a day you are confronted with it. That means for some of us, we are going to speaking the same word of God all day long.

After while, that thing you feared will not have a stronghold on you anymore. But don’t get comfortable, the enemy is going to come at you with something else. And, that’s ok, that’s his job. But, your job is to stay in the word, and stay prayed up. So when the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. You can say no way devil, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.

Stop letting fear hold you back.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Laugh At It

Many of us have gone through tough situations and when we look back on them we laugh; although, at the time we were in it, it was not a laughing matter.

Now we find ourselves going through something else; instead of waiting until it’s over, laugh at it now.

Let your problems know they will not depress you or scare you. Laugh at it now and confuse the enemy, laugh at it now so that you can start feeling better about the situation.

After all, laughter is good for the soul.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

The Fear Of The Lord

Where has our fear gone when it comes to fearing God? There was a time when people respected the house of God and respected the Lord’s name. Now days people treat The Lord like he’s some ordinary man.

In this day and time we must have a reverential fear of The Lord if we plan on succeeding. If people see our fear, then maybe just maybe they may begin to fear The Lord.

In this time of the world God is calling for total obedience. Just look around for yourself and see what’s going on; could it be, that some of the things happening today is because we forgot about God.

The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

We have to decree and declare that fear use to rule our lives but breakthrough rules it now. We have to decree and declare that we will let nothing hold us back from getting to where we need to be and from reaching our goals.

Many of us have been held down too long because of fear. Well, no more! I don’t care how scared you are, step out on faith and watch God work on your behalf. You have to make the first move.

Down But Not Out

Many of us are going through situations and we feel like these situations are literally going to take us out. We have allowed our situations to get us down, and if we are not careful, we could fall into depression, isolation, and fear.

All of us will have a time in our lives where we get down; however, it would be a shame to count us out.

When you find yourself at a low point, make sure you stay connected to God and the church. This will help you from being knocked out by the enemy.

Just keep telling yourself I’m down but I’m not out.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Have No Fear

What worries you the most to the point it paralyzes you with fear? Job said the thing he feared the most came upon him.

We have to learn how to turn all of our worries, burdens and fears over to The Lord. No matter what it is, give it to God.

When those fears come we have to say God here you go you handle it; it’s your problem now and walk away from it.

It’s easier said than done but if you start practicing it it will become easier to let all of those fears go.

Remember God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind.

Fear and a sound mind don’t work well together.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Overcoming Fear

A while back I blogged about my youngest daughter getting scared while we were ridding our bikes; today after church she begged me to go bike riding.

As we began to ride I had the gospel music playing and we were enjoying riding side by side. Then my daughter began to tell me why she was so fearful the last time we rode our bikes.

I said ok well let’s turn around and she said no mommy keep going; before you know it, we rode 10 miles and enjoyed every mile. We talked and sang gospel music and we did all of this in the rain.
My daughter was determined to overcome her fear and she didn’t care that it was raining, she rode those whole 10 miles with confidence.

At the end of the ride I thanked her for being so persistent and keep asking me to go riding despite the circumstances we rode in.

No matter what fear is gripping you; find a way to overcome it and don’t let nothing or no one stop you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I’m Right Here

Yesterday I took my children mountain bike riding. As we were going up the hill we had to push hard and at times we had to get off the bikes and walk them up the hill.

On the way down the hill my youngest daughter became scared because gravity was pulling us down. I told her don’t pedal just pump the breaks.

As we continued down the hill I was right beside her and she began to call out mommy in a frantic voice. I said I’m here, I’m not leaving you on this hill. My son kept saying come on don’t be scared, but my daughter just kept crying out mommy, mommy, mommy. No matter how many times I told her I wasn’t going to leave her that didn’t stop her from not trusting that I would get her safely down the hill. It took us a while to get off that hill because of her doubt, fear and unbelief but once we got down she tried to speed off and leave me.

How many of us are like my daughter? We cry out to God and he says I’m here, I’m not going anywhere; however, we don’t trust him to get us out of every situation. Sometimes when we are going through things and it feels like we are falling we have to pump the breaks and listen to God’s voice coasting us out of the situation. It may take a while but God is true to his word. Once God delivers you, don’t be like my daughter and try to speed off and leave God now that you have come through your trial because another one is just around the corner.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Lead Me Lord

When we ask God to lead us do we really want to follow him or are we saying lead me because that’s what church people say?

What happens when God begins to lead us in uncomfortable situations or lead us right out of our comfort zone?

Do we still desire to follow him or do we want to turn back? Truth be told some of us want to pump the brakes, catch our breath, and say Lord what’s up with this, you do know where you’re going right. You do understand Lord I am right behind you and I don’t know where we are going, I have no clue where you are taking me.

Asking God to lead us can be scary but he has our best interest at heart. He won’t lead us anywhere that he can’t sustain us. Everything in us may want to turn away but this is the time that we have to sticker closer to God.

For if we turn around we are not fit for the Kingdom of God or fit for the Masters use.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
