That’s Not How The Story Ends

You may be going through something and it may seem as if the whole world is against you. No matter how hard you try, you just can’t seem to make anything work. Now you’re at your wits end and you have given up, you’ve thrown in the towel, you’ve realized whose truly in your corner and you don’t know where you stand in your faith in God. Actually, you’re right where God wants you. Now that you’ve come to the end of yourself, God doesn’t have to compete with you for his glory. Now that you’ve come to the end of yourself, God can be God.

Your story doesn’t end with you broke, busted and disgusted. Your story doesn’t end with you being defeated. Your story ends with you being an overcoming. Your story ends with you having more than enough, with you having the victory, with you increasing your faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

So, no matter what the story looks like now, in the end you win.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

And It Came To Pass

Have you ever been in a situation and God said he would bring you out? You couldn’t see what God was talking about, yet it came to pass. Have you ever had someone prophesy over your life and at the time you were like, yeah right? Yet, it came to pass.

God is faithful and his word is true. If he said it, believe it and stand on the word of God. It may take a while for you to see the manifestation of his word, but know it’s coming to pass. Don’t get discouraged when you don’t see the promise. The promises of God are yeah and amen. He’s not a man that he should lie or a man that he should repent. Don’t let the enemy make you think that you didn’t hear from God because you don’t see it yet. If God delivered you before he’s going to do it again. And, that’s what you have to hold on to. If he said your whole household shall be saved, although they act like the chief sinners; it’s coming to pass. If he said you’re getting married and you’re not even dating yet, it’s coming to pass. If he said, you’re getting promoted after you’ve been passed up for promotion, it’s coming to pass. Just wait on the Lord and be of good courage.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Taking Chances

Are you afraid to take chances in life or are you satisfied with playing it safe?

There is no room for playing it safe when you’re a Christian. Jesus wants us to step out on faith. When you step out on faith, you’re saying I’m going against what’s normal by society standards; you’re taking chances.

Look at things this way; you took a chance and gave your life to Christ, not really knowing who he was. You took a chance on that person you’re dating or married and you didn’t know if they were crazy. You took a chance and went to school not even knowing if your were going to finish.

Step out on faith, take chances; you’ll never know how far you can go if you continue to play it safe.

Be blessed and continue to be blessing.

Have No Fear

What is gripping you with fear that it has you so terrified to go after what you want? Does thinking about it make you sick or depressed?

Well have no more fear; God hasn’t give us the spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind. We have to decree and declare a thing when fear creeps up on us. We have to decree and declare that fear use to rule our lives but breakthrough rules it now. We have to decree and declare that we will let nothing hold us back from getting to where we need to be and from reaching our goals.

Many of us have been held down too long because of fear. Well, no more! I don’t care how scared you are, step out on faith and watch God work on your behalf. You have to make the first move.

Goodbye fear! Hello breakthrough!!!!!

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

When God Shows Out

Yesterday was my book signing and God decided to show out. It was amazing, the people came out in support of me and we had a good time.

When it was time to sign the books people got in line and it seemed like the line was never ending. Some people were buying all three of my books while others were only buying one. I completely sold out of the first book and had to direct people to the website.

I thanked everybody for coming and I told them this was the best book signing I have ever had. I told them how only three people showed up to my very first book signing and how that discourage me; therefore, I didn’t have a book signing for my second book.

God really showed out this time. He gave me triple for my trouble.

So, if you have failed at something in the past don’t give up. God just wants to see if you will have the faith to move forward even if you think your dreams are shattered. Once you step out on faith, God will show out on your behalf.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

God’s Blessings vs. My Blessings

God’s blessings maketh rich and add no sorrow.
My blessings make me rob Peter to pay Paul.

God’s blessings allow you to freely share.
My blessings make you think twice about who you are sharing with.

God’s blessings allow you to be secure.
My blessings always have you wondering when is it going to be stripped away.

Instead of always trying to bless yourself, realize this is only a temporary fix leading you down a slippery slope. Allow God to bless you because no good thing will he withhold from you and his blessings won’t make you broke, sick, or out there like a ship without a sail.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Counting Up The Cost

What has being saved cost you? Has being in ministry cost you even more? Knowing what you know now, if you had to do it all over again would you give your life to Christ?

Sure we have all lost something and someone that was near and dear to us because we chose to follow Christ. However, we never thought that it would cost so much. And let’s not get started about the things and people we lost out of our lives when we accepted the call God placed on our lives. We thought we’d never recover from such a great lost.

However, when you really look at the things and people that are no longer apart of the new us, we realize that we really didn’t lose anything. After counting up the cost we’ve found out that holding on to those things and people would have really cost us more than we were willing or able to pay.

Counting up the cost helps us to see what we can afford in the natural as well as the spirit. Naturally it’s easy to tell if we can afford it, but spiritually, it takes us through a process that can either make us increase our faith or lose our faith.

Don’t be afraid to count up the cost, at least you’ll know where you stand.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Do You Know Who You Are

I have a three year old grandson and he is always letting people know who he is.

If you call him baby, he’ll say I’m no baby and then he will tell you his first and last name.

If you call him cute, he’ll say I’m not cute I’m handsome.

If you say don’t act like a girl, he’ll say I’m not a girl I’m a boy.

Whenever we are driving he always points out my office building.

Whenever it’s time to go home he knows if we are not on the right street.

I’ve told you all of that to say this; if a three year old can tell you who he is, what he is, and where he is, then why do we have so many adults who don’t know who they are, what they are, or where they are in life?

We need to become like a child in that we won’t be afraid to let others know who we are and what we believe. After all the bible does say a child shall lead them.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Too Silly For A Funeral, Too Serious For A Party

I heard a pastor preach on this subject and I began to look at the condition of people and the church.

When we should be serious or minding the things of The Lord we are playing and Jesus is far from our minds.

When we should be relaxing we are to uptight always trying to see what other people are doing instead of making sure of our well being.

Christians shouldn’t be so serious that they don’t know how to live and enjoy the things of The Lord and they shouldn’t be so childish in their faith that they loose their witness and always running people out of the church.

You can have childlike faith but not childish faith. In other words don’t be too silly for a funeral and too serious for a party.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

The Winds And Weights

When it’s windy outside and we have to be out in the elements it tends to slow us down. The wind whips us on every side. We can’t hide from the wind and we are just exposed to whichever way it’s blowing.

Weights do a couple of things for us, they help build muscles and they also weigh us down and causes us to ask for help.

When the winds of life blow our way, instead of walking with the wind turn your back and let the wind push you. Learn how to use the wind to your advantage.

When the weights of life stop helping you to build faith, courage, confidence and a relationship with God, then lay aside every weight and sin that so easily beset you and as always turn everything over to Jesus.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
