Why keep dwelling on the past? It doesn’t matter, you can’t change anything about it. Why keep wondering what could’ve, should’ve been? It doesn’t matter now, the time is passed away.
We tend to worry about stuff we have no control over. We’ve become so comfortable living in the past, that we are afraid of what the present and future hold. Does it really matter that you’ve sinned, or does it matter that you’ve repented? Does it really matter that you’ve failed, or does it matter that you’ve gotten back up? Does it really matter that they keep talking about you, or does it matter that you’re letting your light shine before men, that your father in heaven will be glorified?
You need to determine what really matters to you and don’t worry about the rest. And, when people try to bring up your past and your failures; let them know, it really doesn’t matter.
