God Said He Wouldn’t Do It

God said he’ll never leave you nor forsake you
He said he won’t put more on you than you can bear
He said he is not a man that he should lie or repent
He said no weapon formed against you shall prosper
God said he will not be mocked
He said he won’t flood the earth again, next time it will be fire
God said he would let the enemy touch your things, family, friends and finances, but he won’t let the enemy touch your life

Today, take God at his word. Listen to him tell you what he will and what he won’t do in your life.

Don’t Think

Don’t think because Jesus is all loving that he won’t chastise you. Don’t think that once saved is always saved. Don’t think because you gave your like to Jesus, you are on easy street now. Don’t think because you are a Christian, everyone is going to like you now.

Because we do think like this, we become easily offended in the house of God. The are a lot of Christians walking around with OCD Offended Christian Disorder. They’re offended because people don’t like them. News flash, a whole lot of Christians weren’t liked in the bible. They’re offended because they’re still struggling. They heard too many sermons about Jesus paying bills, and not enough sermons about being a good steward over the money Jesus gives them. They’re offended because Jesus didn’t stand idly by and allow them to continue in sin. When he said come from amongst them, that’s what he meant and since they didn’t listen; he showed them better than he told them.

There’s no need in being offended and wearing your feelings on your sleeve. REPENT! And, ask God to show you the way. To help you be delivered from people. To help you to stop being a thief and a liar by not paying your tithes and lying to get benefits. To help you trust in him. This time don’t think, just do.

Do what’s right in the sight of the Lord. Do right by people whether or not they like you. Do edify your sister and your brother. And whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord.

I Knew You Would Do It

Have you ever did something for someone knowing what they would do with it, but you did it anyway?

Jesus died knowing we would lie, curse, cheat, steal, etc…But he didn’t say I shouldn’t do this for you because you won’t appreciate it. In fact, he said it’s not his will that none should perish.

We on the other hand, think about how much someone won’t appreciate what we are doing for them, and decide not to do it.

What if God said I’m not sending my son to die for y’all. To hell with you ungrateful people? Where would we be? We think the world is in turmoil now, just think of what it would be if Jesus didn’t die for us.

So instead of letting the enemy see us be so ungrateful, let him see us make a fool out of him. Make Jesus tell satan I knew my child would do it.

Jesus should be able to say, I knew my child would serve me in spite of.
I knew my child would praise me without money.
I knew my child didn’t need their names up in lights to worship me.
I knew that despite of everything my child is going through, they would keep the faith.

You Have To Do It For Yourself

I workout seven days a week and when I workout I have to do it for myself. I cannot tell my friends; hey, when you workout make sure you run a mile for me to strengthen my legs. No! It doesn’t work like that.

So it is with giving your life to Christ. You cannot give your life to Christ for someone else. Your relationship with God is yours. When you fast God is not going to impart spiritual things into the person who wants you to fast for them, he’s going to impart spiritual things in you.

It’s good to pray for people but sometimes you have to tell them, you got to do it for yourself. It may sound hard but how else are they going to know that they can get a prayer through if they are always asking someone else to pray for them.

Furthermore, it’s dangerous to always ask people to pray for you, you really don’t know what type of life they are living and their prayers just may be contaminated, they may be a stink in Gods nostrils. They may have blood on their hands.

It’s better to take a chance on yourself talking to God and see what results you yield.

In other words, you got to do this for yourself.
