How Much Are You Willing To Pay

For freedom: A soldier goes to war and sometimes don’t make it home
For justice: Ordinary citizens are willing to march and protest
For food and rent: A single parent is willing to work as many jobs as it takes to survive
For peace: A person is willing to let go someone they love
For love: A person is willing to do anything just not to be lonely
For a friend: A person is willing to show themselves friendly
For salvation: Jesus laid down his life for us, took on our sins and continue to watch us crucify him afresh every time we sin.

That’s quite a price to pay. Are you willing to pay even half that much?

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Paid For It

Whenever you make a purchase at the store the cashier always ask, do you want your receipt? Normally, I say no, I know I paid for it.

I wonder, do we act the way we act as Christians because we know Jesus already paid for it. Do we have the mentality, once saved always saved, because we know Jesus paid for it? Are we so arrogant to think that Jesus had no choice but to pay for it?

Perhaps, our attitudes would be different if we had to pay the same price as Jesus. Perhaps, if we had to give up our only child for an ungrateful, evil, and perverse people the payment would mean more.

People don’t care as much when someone else pays the cost. But, they have a tendency to look at things much different when they have to pay the cost.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

It Cost To Be Lost

Being lost with God can cost you your soul and you’ll wind up in hell. Are you prepared to pay that cost or better yet can you afford the payment?

In the country where I live if you make a wrong turn off an exit on the highway and try to get back on; it will cost you big time to be lost. One wrong turn can break the bank.

Your soul is precious and while the blood is running warm in your veins find God, get a relationship with him, confess him with your mouth. Because in the end, it cost too much to be lost.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Counting Up The Cost

What has being saved cost you? Has being in ministry cost you even more? Knowing what you know now, if you had to do it all over again would you give your life to Christ?

Sure we have all lost something and someone that was near and dear to us because we chose to follow Christ. However, we never thought that it would cost so much. And let’s not get started about the things and people we lost out of our lives when we accepted the call God placed on our lives. We thought we’d never recover from such a great lost.

However, when you really look at the things and people that are no longer apart of the new us, we realize that we really didn’t lose anything. After counting up the cost we’ve found out that holding on to those things and people would have really cost us more than we were willing or able to pay.

Counting up the cost helps us to see what we can afford in the natural as well as the spirit. Naturally it’s easy to tell if we can afford it, but spiritually, it takes us through a process that can either make us increase our faith or lose our faith.

Don’t be afraid to count up the cost, at least you’ll know where you stand.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
