Complete Instructions

When I tell my kids to clean up I find that they always try to find a loophole in what I told them to do. For instance, I will say; clean up the living room. When I go back in the living room I still see stuff on the floor and my kids will say; you didn’t say pick up the paper or clean off the tables. You said, clean up the living room. I then ask my kids, what do y’all think I meant? They get smart and say; we thought you wanted us to fluff the pillows on the couch.

Are we like that with God? Do we try to find a loophole in what he tells us to do? The word says to repent. So, do we say Lord I repent? Or, are we waiting on God to give us complete instructions on how to repent? Lord I repent for lying, Lord I repent for fornicating, Lord I repent for cheating people and cheating on you, Lord I repent for not doing your will and making your name a reproach among men, etc…

There is no loophole in the word of God, and we can keep playing and acting like God ain’t giving us complete instructions if we want to. But, the bible says be not deceived God is not mocked, that that a man sows he shall also reap. The bible goes on to say, it’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Keep thinking you found a loophole and in hell will you lift up your eyes. Keep thinking you’ve mocked God, outwitted God and an open rebuke is sure to come. Keep thinking God won’t chastise you and let your family and friends see you get the beating of your life.

Best believe, when God talks he gives complete instructions.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
