When issues arise in our life, why don’t we go immediately to the Lord? Normally, we try to call our best friend, our mother, our father, our siblings, or someone we trust. Our first instinct should be to cast our cares on the Lord.
We waste a lot of time and energy telling everyone else about our issues. The sad part is, we are talking to people who cannot fix our problems. I don’t care how much we love these people, and how cool we are with these people; if we leave God out of the equation he’s not going to just allow our problems to be solved. When God said cast your cares on me, that wasn’t for kicks and giggles. He died for our sins and our cares. He rose out of the grave with all power in his hands.
So, I ask again; why do we keep going to people with no power? Think of it this way, when you have a problem with a utility bill and you call the utility company, you want to speak to someone with some authority who’s authorized to handle the situation. The person that answers the phone is not that person, that’s why you say; can I speak with the manager. Well, when issues arise in our life, we need to tell our issues I’m going to talk with the Master. He has authority and he’s authorized to do something about it. I don’t have time to talk to the middle man.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
