Have someone ever made you so mad and before you knew it, you said; I don’t need this? I don’t need this job. I don’t need this drama, and I really don’t need you. As soon as the words came out of your mouth, you realized that in your anger you just messed up real bad. It was too late to take it back. As a result, you lost your job, your friends and your relationship. Yes, it hurts but God always has a way for you to recover. You see, it’s not always the enemy that takes from us. Sometimes, we are our own worst enemy and we freely give our stuff away.
You know, if you were thinking clearly you would never say I don’t need this job. As hard as it is to find a good person to share your life with, you would never be so quick to say; I don’t need you. You cannot allow anger to get the best of you. What if God said; I don’t need this. I already live with the Father in heaven. I don’t need this. These people don’t do nothing but lie, steal, cheat, curse, fornicate, commit adultery, etc… I don’t need this. These people only want material things, they don’t want anything spiritual. But, instead, Jesus said, we needed this. We needed for him to die for our sins. We needed for him to forgive us for the same thing over and over again. We needed for him to love us when we couldn’t and didn’t love ourselves.
The next time you feel like you don’t need this. Keep it to yourself, don’t throw away your blessings, and take it to the Lord in prayer.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
