Come To Jesus

Good morning. We must come to Christ in faith and believe he is the one sent from heaven. Some people can see what’s going on in the world and still don’t believe in Christ. We serve the only true and living God; he’s our everything. We don’t have to lack anything because everything we need is found in him. Today is a good day to become relational with Christ. Today is a good day to hunger and thirst after righteousness. Come to Jesus while you still have the chance.

John 6:35-37
Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But you haven’t believed in me even though you have seen me. However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.

Time Is Ticking

Good morning. God is giving us a choice today; we can serve him and be blessed or serve other gods and be cursed. It’s a simple choice yet so many people have a hard time deciding what it is they want to do. If you die before making the right choice you’ve condemned yourself to hell because not choosing God is choosing Satan. No one can make this choice for you; they can pray for you but you have to make the decision. The clock is ticking don’t let time run out.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28
“Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse! You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today. But you will be cursed if you reject the commands of the LORD your God and turn away from him and worship gods you have not known before.

Discipline Your Children

Good morning. When we fail to discipline our children we are asking for trouble. The Lord disciplines us because he loves us and he knows a little discipline will get us back in line where we belong and save our souls. It’s not cute to have an unruly, undisciplined child, for this child will bring shame upon you.

Proverbs 29:15
To discipline a child produces wisdom, but a mother is disgraced by an undisciplined child.

Forsaken But Still Loved

Good morning. The Lord loves you. It’s natural to want love from family members especially from our parents. The hard truth is some people don’t get that. Nevertheless, the Lord loves us and won’t leave us even if our parents decide that loving us and staying with us is too much.

Psalms 27:10
Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.

A Discerning Spirit

Good morning. We all need a spirit of discernment. People may seem nice and pleasant but we need to be able to discern the intent of their hearts. Even if we’re fooled by people God has a way of exposing what’s really in a person. The Bible declares if we lack wisdom we can ask for it. We can also ask for a spirit of discernment to know who’s really for us and who’s against us.

Proverbs 26:24-26
People may cover their hatred with pleasant words, but they’re deceiving you. They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them. Their hearts are full of many evils. While their hatred may be concealed by trickery, their wrongdoing will be exposed in public.

Trust God At All Times

Good morning. No matter what’s going on in our lives we are to trust God at all times. All means all; not some of the time, not when things aren’t really bad, but all the time. We may not know how God is going to work things out but we do know he got us and that he will never leave us nor forsake us. So we can cast all our cares on him. We can pour out our hearts to him. For he will take care of all that’s concerning us.

Psalms 62:8
O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

Use Wisdom

Good morning. We must use wisdom in every situation. When we speak we must be mindful who is around us, who we’re speaking to and the spiritual state of that person. When we do things we must be mindful of the same thing. Our actions and speech although good can become a stumbling block for others. As Christians our goal should always be to look out for the other persons good. Because, while we may be able to do anything it’s not always good to do it.

1 Corinthians 10:23-24
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is beneficial. Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others.

Don’t Miss Your Time Or Chance

Good morning. The Bible declares time and chance happens to us all and many times we’ve heard people say; “I was just in the right place at the right time”. As I ponder on that statement I find that when we are in right relation with God he will place us right where we need to be at the time we need to be there. It has absolutely nothing to do with our wealth, education, talent or strength. Therefore, be on the lookout for your chance and opportunity. Don’t let opportunities pass you by. You don’t know if God will grant you another opportunity or if life will take a sudden turn and bring hard times and tragedy.

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12
I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.
People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

Accept What God Allows

Good morning. Never forget what you are going through God allowed it to be so. He knows what he’s placed on the inside of you. He knows what needs to come out of you. Nothing just happens. If Satan is wreaking havoc in your life know that he had to go to God to get permission and God gave him the parameters in which he can operate. Satan can do no more or no less than what God allows. So go through the test and trial and rejoice because in the end we win.

Job 1:9-12
Satan replied to the LORD, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!” “All right, you may test him,” the LORD said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the LORD’s presence.

Don’t Miss Out On Your Reward

Good morning. We’ve come too far to let someone turn us around now. We’ve had too many encounters with the Lord for someone to make us doubt him. Holdfast to what you know about the Lord. Stay in the word of God, so when false teachers come your spirit will immediately reject them. We are running this race to receive our reward and our reward is in heaven. Don’t get caught up in this world and miss out on everything you’ve worked for. Make sure you’re anchored in God and that your anchor holds.

2 John 1:7-9
I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world. They deny that Jesus Christ came in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward. Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.
