Christ Has Already Made A Way

Good morning. Christ died so we can live. We don’t know the day we’re going to die or the day Christ will return. However, we do know that we are living to live again. We will either have eternal life or eternal damnation; and we get to choose which one we want. Provisions have been made for either choice we decide. We know that everyone won’t decide the same thing but we can’t look at what everyone else is doing. We have to keep our focus on God and then we will know what choice to make.

1 Thessalonians 5:10
Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever.

Pick A Side

Good morning. It’s decision making time. Either we’re going to be for God or against him there’s no in between. What is it going to take for us to make up our mind? Hasn’t God already showed himself mighty? Hasn’t Satan already showed us he’s not a man of his word? And yet we keep taking our time going back and forth trying to decide whom we will serve. Time is winding down and no one knows the day nor the hour so decide today; for this may be our last chance to pick a side.

1 Kings 18:21
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Having A Relationship With God Is Being Rich

Good morning. Having a lot of stuff doesn’t mean you’re blessed, it means you have a lot stuff. If you have a relationship with the Lord you have more than someone who has all the riches in the world. Don’t complain when you see people who have all the money in the world but they don’t have God in their lives; for one day a man’s strength, power, and riches will fade away. You keep trusting in the Lord knowing he will supply all your needs according to his riches and glory.

Psalms 37:16
It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich.

Being Angry Can Lead To Regrets

Good morning. The Bible declares we can be angry but sin not. When we become angry many times it causes us to lose our temper. Once we lose our temper our character changes and we no longer act like children of God instead, we act like Satan’s children. When we become angry we need to give it to God immediately and let him handle the situation, because being angry and losing our temper can cause much harm. When we’re so out of control, we are one mistake away from making the biggest mistake of our lives. We can say something or do something that we can never take back and blow our witness all in one action. There is nothing too hard for God; we can tell him everything that’s bothering us before we go and do something we will regret the rest of our lives.

Psalms 37:8
Stop being angry! Turn from your rage!
Do not lose your temper— it only leads to harm.

Our Work For The Lord Is Not In Vain

Good morning. We serve a just God who sees all we do. God notices how we love one another, care for the poor, take care of people in need and how we give of ourselves freely. We should never think what we do for others is in vain. Remember if we’ve done it the least of them, we’ve done it God.

Hebrews 6:10
For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

It’s Time To Pick A Side

Good morning. We cannot allow anyone to dictate our relationship with Christ. We cannot allow any law, policy, decree, etc.., to tell us when and where we will pray. Our relationship with Christ is more important than anything in this world. If we cower to what the world says we should do in relation to God then we really are not on the Lord’s side. Either we are going to be for God or against God there’s no in between. The Bible declares to be friends of this world is to be an enemy of God. Now choose a side because you can’t be neutral.

Daniel 6:10-12
But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God. Then the officials went together to Daniel’s house and found him praying and asking for God’s help. So they went straight to the king and reminded him about his law. “Did you not sign a law that for the next thirty days any person who prays to anyone, divine or human—except to you, Your Majesty—will be thrown into the den of lions?” “Yes,” the king replied, “that decision stands; it is an official law of the Medes and Persians that cannot be revoked.”

Watch Who You Take Advice From

Good morning. As children of God we have no business taking advice from wicked people. Who are wicked people you ask? Wicked people are those who refuse to choose the Lord as savior of their soul and refuse to abide by the word of God. As children of God it’s our responsibility to read the word daily and meditate on the word. When we read and meditate on the word daily it gets on the inside of us. Whatever we place on the inside of us will come out and in this season the only thing that needs to come out of us is obedience, the love of God, the word of God and the fruit of the spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Psalms 1:1-2
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.
But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night.

God Has To Come First

Good morning. With so much going on in the world and in our lives it’s easy to lose focus on what’s important and that’s God. We have to guard our hearts and minds to ensure nothing or no one takes the place of God in our lives. We must examine ourselves daily. We must examine our friendships daily. We must examine our activities daily and if anything is keeping us away from our relationship with the Lord we need to let it go. God has to come first.

1 John 5:21
Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.

Sin Should No Longer Appeal To Us

Good morning. God’s grace is not a license for us to sin. Now that we are in Christ we are new creatures. Sin should not appeal to us anymore. We should hate the very appearance of evil. Our very will should be to do the will of Christ. We are no longer our own. Our lives are renewed in Christ Jesus and we should behave as such.

Romans 6:1-3
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?

Reciprocate The Same Mercy God Has Shown You

Good morning. Do we show people mercy or are we hard on everyone? Have we forgotten we were not always saved? Do we remember when people prayed for us and we still were hell-raisers and couldn’t no one tell us anything, because we knew everything? Yet, God kept us alive long enough to make an intelligent decision to serve him. He showed us love, compassion and mercy despite of who we were and how we acted. The same love, compassion and mercy that God has shown us we need to show others.

James 2:13
There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.
