Walk Upright Before The Lord

Good morning. Have we displayed the Lord in such a way that people trust the God in us and are willing to follow us? No matter the cost, they’ve seen how we’ve hung on to our faith in the midst of adversity, they’ve seen how we’ve stood on the word in-spite of the world telling us to let go, they’ve seen us trust God when the odds were stacked against us; and they’ve decided they want to serve that God along with us. We don’t know where other people are in their faith walk, therefore, we must always walk upright before the Lord. People are watching us and looking for something to believe in, why not give them Jesus.

Ruth 1:16-17
But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!”

God Will Strip You Of Everything

Good morning. There’s a price to pay for acting any kind of way in the sight of the Lord. Being disobedient and disregarding the commands of the Lord has consequences not only for us but for our whole households. When God blesses us that’s not a time for us to start worshipping other gods. That’s not a time for us to start slacking in our prayers or our daily devotions to God. If things in our life are out of wack, we need to go back to the place where we stopped believing and trusting in God, repent and get back in line. Don’t let God have to bring disaster upon us before we realize he’s the true and living God and that he’s not playing around with us. We cannot serve God and the world. We cannot be blessed by God and give some idol his glory. We need to repent before he strip us of everything even our lives.

1 Kings 14:8-10
I ripped the kingdom away from the family of David and gave it to you. But you have not been like my servant David, who obeyed my commands and followed me with all his heart and always did whatever I wanted. You have done more evil than all who lived before you. You have made other gods for yourself and have made me furious with your gold calves. And since you have turned your back on me, I will bring disaster on your dynasty and will destroy every one of your male descendants, slave and free alike, anywhere in Israel. I will burn up your royal dynasty as one burns up trash until it is all gone.

God Has Already Made Provisions

Good morning. Before the Lord even formed man he made provisions to sustain man. God looked over every detail of the earth and put things in order. This let’s us know that God provides in ways we can’t explain or can’t deny. God knew everything we needed and everything we would have to face before he created us and it’s a blessing to know he’s already has made provisions for us. So, we should not fret or fear when we don’t see how we’re going to make it or where our next meal will come from; we should wait for the provision to manifest in our lives.

Genesis 1:29-30
Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has life.” And that is what happened.

No Time For Fools

Good morning. The best thing to do when dealing with fools is to be silent. There’s no need in trying to argue, explain yourself or impart wisdom in them. Once a fool notices we’re silent hopefully they will shut up and go about their way.

Proverbs 26:4
Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools, or you will become as foolish as they are.

Don’t Take The Bait

Good morning. When we allow Satan to get under our skin and we don’t seek the Lord, we’re asking for trouble. We cannot respond to Satan but in the name of the Lord, even the angels understand that. When we react to the enemy without a response from the Lord our actions will affect everyone connected to us. We know the proper protocol when we have to face the enemy. The proper protocol is to seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven. The proper protocol is to cast our cares on the Lord. The proper protocol is to be anxious for nothing but with prayer and supplication let our request be known to God. The proper protocol is to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. We cannot allow Satan to bait us into sinning against God, too much is at stake and too many people are depending on us.

1 Chronicles 21:1-3
Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the people of Israel. So David said to Joab and the commanders of the army, “Take a census of all the people of Israel—from Beersheba in the south to Dan in the north—and bring me a report so I may know how many there are.”
But Joab replied, “May the LORD increase the number of his people a hundred times over! But why, my lord the king, do you want to do this? Are they not all your servants? Why must you cause Israel to sin?”

Victory Belongs To The Lord

Good morning ladies. No matter what we try to do to our enemies we won’t succeed if God doesn’t step in. God is the one that keeps our enemies at bay or allows them to advance against us. Our hope can’t be in our fighting ability or in our weapons. Our hope is in the Lord; the all powerful, all seeing, all knowing and all righteous one. When we see our enemies fall, know that victory belongs to the Lord.

Psalms 44:5-7
Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me. You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us.

Rooted And Grounded In God

Good morning. Being saved and accepting Christ is great; now we must be rooted and grounded in God. We become rooted and grounded in God when we study his word daily and have a prayer life. It’s important to be rooted in God so that we won’t be tossed by every wind and doctrine. We will be able to stand on the truth. The more we delve in the word of God, the more we find ourselves in the word and we find ourselves repenting and wanting more of God. As long as we’re alive, we are going through a process of learning more about the Lord and the more we learn the more our faith is built in him.

Colossians 2:6-7
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

Blessed Are The Pure In Heart

Good morning. We have to serve God wholeheartedly. We cannot have one foot in Christ and one foot in the world for the Bible declares; I rather you be hot or cold because if you’re lukewarm I’ll spit you out my mouth. When we can’t make up our minds if we want to serve the Lord or not we make him sick and nauseous. In reality, when we’re wavering between two opinions about serving the Lord we’ve already made a decision and that’s to be friends of this world. Let us not fool ourselves into thinking we’re going to heaven if we’re friends of this world.

Matthew 5:8
God blesses those whose hearts are pure,
for they will see God.

Can’t Nobody Do Us Like The Lord

Good morning. First God will speak a thing and then we will see the manifestation of it. Whatever God has spoke into your life, whatever promise he has given you, hold on to it and be expecting it to manifest. We know that God does things in his timing therefore, we should always have a spirit of expectancy. We don’t know when God’s going to do it but we know he’s going to do it. When don’t know when God is going to show up in our situations but we know he’s going to show up. And this is the beauty of it all; no man can undo what God does in our lives. Can’t nobody do us like the Lord. Can’t nobody save us, redeem us, heal us or pluck us out of God’s hand. For he is God and God alone.

Isaiah 43:11-13
I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is no other Savior. First I predicted your rescue,
then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. You are witnesses that I am the only God,” says the LORD. “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”

Don’t Miss Your Shot

Good morning. Our skills, talents, and abilities doesn’t guarantee us that we will come out on top every time. For we can be the best at what we do but if we’re disobedient to God we will surely fail. God allows time and chance to happen to everyone and it’s up to us what we do when opportunities present themselves. Do we seek God and ask for directions or rely on other people’s opinion? Do we rely on our talents, skills and abilities and leave God out of the process? We never want to miss our shot for whatever it is God has for us. Therefore, we have to stay in right relationship with him. We have to seek God daily. We have to walk with him and talk with him; and the more we’re in his presence and being obedient to him and his word, when opportunities arise we will be in the right place at the right time.

Ecclesiastes 9:11
I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
