Don’t Fall For Satan’s Tricks

Good morning. Only God has our best interest at heart. He knows the plans he has for us, the thoughts he thinks towards us and the blessings he has in store for us. Satan means us no good. He only throws smoke screens up in hopes we’ll fall for his tricks so that he can take us down. Stick close to God and even when you don’t understand what he’s doing in your life. Stick close to God even when it doesn’t feel good or look good because an abundant life is what he has in store for us.

John 10:10
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

We Can Make Our Mouths Say Anything

Good morning. We can make our mouths say anything, therefore, we need to think before we speak. What we say can cause us to sin because we don’t keep our word. Not keeping our word is the same as lying. As children of God we don’t want to be known as liars. We don’t want to be known for talking the talk but not walking the walk. Before we open up our mouths to speak, we need to count up the cost of our words. Saying one thing and doing another thing can be costly and cause us to lose everything. If we’re not ready to lose it all, then we need to learn to be quiet.

Ecclesiastes 5:6
Don’t let your mouth make you sin. And don’t defend yourself by telling the Temple messenger that the promise you made was a mistake. That would make God angry, and he might wipe out everything you have achieved.

Know When To Speak And When To Be Quiet

Good morning. We don’t always have to speak on a matter. Speaking out of turn can ruin everything for us. What we say, when we say it, can make or break or deal, can save or destroy lives, can promote or demote us and can have good or bad consequences. Our words or lack of words can either open doors or get them closed in our face. The less we speak, the more we hear and what we hear can help us plan our next move.

Proverbs 13:3
Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.

Choose The Right Path

Good morning. The path we choose in life tells a lot about how we feel about God. We cannot hide behind cliche’s like; the Lord knows my heart or me and God have an understanding. The Lord wouldn’t tell all of us what to do in his word then make a side deal just with you. There’s only one way to heaven; we must come in at the door. Not through a side window or a back door, for the Bible declares if we come any other way we are robbers and thieves. So, let’s get right, ask God to clean us up because we can’t do it ourselves, then choose the path of life.

Proverbs 14:2
Those who follow the right path fear the LORD; those who take the wrong path despise him.

Sin Has Consequences

Good morning. Sin has consequences. It affects our relationship with God and our health. Don’t think we can sin and God turns his head and act like he doesn’t see us. We can’t get away with anything. We should pray that God doesn’t deal with us in his anger because the punishment will be more severe. When God’s wrath comes upon us, we dare not say; Satan is busy or the enemy is after me. We need to tell the truth. Because of sin, I’m in this state. Because of sin, my health is failing. Because of sin, I’m suffering God’s wrath. This has nothing to do with Satan and everything to do with the choice we made to disobey God.

Psalms 38:1-3
O LORD, don’t rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your rage! Your arrows have struck deep, and your blows are crushing me. Because of your anger, my whole body is sick; my health is broken because of my sins.

Without God’s Mercy Where Would We Be

Good morning. When we’ve made God so angry that he withdraws his protection, you know we’re in for a world of hurt. When God decides he will no longer be merciful, we are exposed to everything the enemy can throw at us. Let us not get to this point. Let’s be mindful of our behavior. Let’s keep a spirit of repentance. Let’s read the scripture and learn from the mistakes others made. We could not handle life if God chose to turn his back on us because of our sinful ways.

Lamentations 2:2-3
Without mercy the Lord has destroyed every home in Israel. In his anger he has broken down the fortress walls of beautiful Jerusalem. He has brought them to the ground, dishonoring the kingdom and its rulers. All the strength of Israel vanishes beneath his fierce anger. The Lord has withdrawn his protection as the enemy attacks. He consumes the whole land of Israel like a raging fire.

Who Is Your Lord And King

Good morning. When we don’t allow God to be king and Lord in our lives we are surely headed for destruction. We think everything we do is right and we dare someone to tell us otherwise. If our ways are not lining up with the word of God, then we must ask ourselves; is God my Lord and king or is the world? We never want to get to the point where the world is our lord again because, we know that this world has nothing to offer us.

Judges 21:25
In those days Israel had no king; all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes.

Don’t Let Know One Turn You Around

Good morning. Once you’ve heard of Jesus and seen Jesus work in your life, don’t allow anyone to come and persuade you otherwise and don’t think you’re doing something on your own. We cannot take credit for anything that God is doing or has done in our lives. People that try to persuade us to thinking the Lord is not who he say he is has never had a relationship or experience with him. It’s hard to come into contact with the Lord and not be changed forever.

Galatians 3:1-3
Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross. Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit by obeying the law of Moses? Of course not! You received the Spirit because you believed the message you heard about Christ. How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?

Don’t Forfeit Your Benefits

Good morning. We can’t beat God’s giving no matter how hard we try. It’s good when we have compassion on the poor, realizing it could be us or it should be us; but by the grace of God. Before we look down on the poor, we need to remember that God is watching our every move and he sees how kind or how harsh we treat them. I suggest we treat them with love and kindness so that we don’t forfeit our benefits of restored health, preserved life and prosperity. If we feel like we don’t need these benefits, then by all means treat the poor harshly. But, if these benefits are priceless to us, then we should take heed and follow God’s ways.

Psalms 41:1-3
Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble. The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The LORD nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health.

Ask The Lord About The People Around You

Good morning. God watches over his children and he gives signs to look for in others. He teaches us how to spot wicked people, wolves in sheep’s clothing. If we take heed, these people won’t be able to dupe us however, if we keep thinking everybody is our friend, or that these people won’t treat us like they treat others; we will find ourselves hurt, crying and calling on God asking him, “why did they do this to me”. Even Jesus knew that everyone wasn’t for him, so, what makes us think that everyone is for us? The Bible declares to be as wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. We have to use wisdom and discernment when people are always around us in our face. We have to ask God, what are their motives and intentions. Taking a moment to talk to the Lord about the people around us will save us a whole lot of problems in the end.

Proverbs 6:12-15
What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars, signaling their deceit with a wink of the eye, a nudge of the foot, or the wiggle of fingers. Their perverted hearts plot evil, and they constantly stir up trouble. But they will be destroyed suddenly, broken in an instant beyond all hope of healing.
