Just Shut Your Mouth

Good morning. We don’t have to speak or comment on everything. What we say to others, can either hurt or help out witness of Christ. We need to discipline ourselves, for every word we speak now, we’re going to have to give an account for. Simply put, we need to learn how to shut up and think before we speak. If what we have to say is going to edify the person, then speak. If what we have to say is going to tear down a person, then we need shut up. We will be surprised how much we can hear, if we just be quiet.

Psalms 34:13
Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile.

Surrounded By Angels

Good morning. No matter what we’re facing God’s angels are surrounding us. We don’t have to fear anything for God’s angels know how to protect us and they’re not afraid to against Satan’s demons. That’s why we pray; Lord, keep your angels encamped round about us. Not only are we covered by the blood of Jesus, he’s assigned some angels to be dispatched at a moment’s notice on our behalf. So, walk in peace and assurance knowing we’re surrounded.

Psalms 34:7
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Corporate Worship

Good morning. Having private worship with the Lord is great. However, there are times when we need to worship the Lord corporately. The Bible declares we are not to forsake the assembly of the saints, therefore, God intends for us to join together and worship him. Even if we can’t make it to church house, we can call, FaceTime, video chat, etc. and worship God with one another. We are without excuse.

Psalms 34:3
O magnify the LORD with me,
and let us exalt his name together.

Let Praise Be Our Weapon And Worship Be Our Lifestyle

Good morning. We don’t praise and worship God according to our feelings. We praise and worship God for who He is. We have to make it a habit to bless the name of the Lord. When things are good, we have to bless him. When things are bad, we have to bless him. When things are bad, it will test our character and we will really see what we believe about God. The Bible declares, trials are sure to come, nowhere does it say; everyday will be without challenges. So let praise be our weapon and worship be our lifestyle.

Psalms 34:1
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

What A Mighty God We Serve

Good morning. We serve a God that all he has to do is speak, and it so. So, instead of looking for a word from a pastor, evangelist or prophet, we need to ask God to speak a word in our lives and over our lives. For when God speaks, we know he’s not grasping at straws and since he created us, he has the blueprint of our lives, he knows exactly what we need and how to supply that need. What a mighty God we serve.

Psalms 33:6-9
The LORD merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word,
and all the stars were born. He assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. Let the whole world fear the LORD, and let everyone stand in awe of him. For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command.

We Will Not Be Disappointed

Good morning. It’s hard to deal with people we can’t trust. We’re always wondering if they are being honest or not. It’s good to know, we can trust God no matter what. His word is true. He’s not like man; he doesn’t play games with us. He doesn’t have ulterior motives. He’s not out to hurt us Everything he says and does is for a purpose. We can put our trust in the Lord and he won’t let us down, we won’t be disappointed. The only person that will be mad about our decision is Satan.

Psalms 33:4
For the word of the LORD holds true, and we can trust everything he does.

Obey The Lord And Rejoice

Good morning. If we are obedient and trusting in the Lord we have nothing to worry about. However, if we are being wicked, straddling the fence, or all out turning away from God, then shame on us and woe be to us. Obey God and rejoice with gladness. Trust God and sing a new song of praise. There’s nothing like knowing you’re walking upright before the Lord and that he’s pleased
with you. There will be times when we fall short and when those times come; repent, dust yourself off, get back in line with God and rejoice.

Psalms 32:10-11
Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD. So rejoice in the LORD and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!

God Will Show Us The Way If We Let Him

Good morning. God wants to lead us and guide us. We can’t be so stubborn and fight him every step of the way. We must realize, he made us, he knew us before we were formed in our mother’s womb. He’s already written our story. So, since he’s the author and finisher of our faith, shouldn’t we know he knows what steps we need to take. God knows what’s best for us. We think we know what’s best for us until we find ourselves in a bind. Trust God and let him show us the way.

Psalms 32:8-9
The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.”

Get Things Right With God

Good morning. God is not like man, he wants to forgive us. The Bible declares when we confess our sins, he’s faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness. Don’t allow sin to keep you in the pit. Don’t allow what other people think about you, to hold your sins over you. All of us have messed up and sin. We all need God’s forgiveness. Whom the son set free is free indeed. We choose to walk around bound, when we choose not to get things right with God.

Psalms 32:5
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

We Brought This On Ourselves

Good morning. Have we ever wondered why sickness and disease attacks our bodies? Do we ever link our sickness and disease to sin? Some things are brought upon us because of sin and our unwillingness to confess it. As long as we refuse to confess our sin, God will treat us as sinners and not his own. The songwriter declared; “Oh what needless burdens we carry, all because we don’t take it to the Lord in prayer.” If we want to be healed, we need to confess our sins. If we want to be delivered, we need to confess our sins. If we want to be set free, we need to confess our sins. Why keep dealing with God’s wrath, when we know we can’t win? We’re holding ourselves back from experiencing the joys of Christ. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

Psalms 32:3-4
When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.
Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat.
