We’ve Been Forgiven

Good morning. The way to be set free from sin is to trust Jesus Christ to take it away. Jesus is the only one who forgives our sins and makes us right with God. When Jesus forgives our sins our record is wiped cleaned. He drops all charges against us. When we trust in Jesus, and abide in him and stand firm on his word, it empowers us to live the way he desires us to live. So stop thinking Jesus is like man in that he holds grudges and he forgives and not forgets. We’ve been forgiven now let’s walk in the newness if Christ Jesus.

Colossians 1:22-23
Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.

Don’t Let Nobody Turn You Around

Good morning. Who or what has us thinking differently about Jesus death on the cross for our sins? We know if it had not been for the shedding of the blood there would be no remission of sins. We cannot get so caught up in this life that we let worldly ideas and worldly ways lead us astray and have us questioning Jesus’ death. We know who Jesus is. We know what Jesus can do. We know when Jesus left he sent us the Holy Spirit. So shouldn’t no one be able to fool us into thinking differently about Jesus. As the seasoned saints use to say; you can’t me me doubt him, I know too much about him.

Galatians 3:1-2
Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross. Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit by obeying the law of Moses? Of course not! You received the Spirit because you believed the message you heard about Christ.

Don’t Envy Sinners

Good morning. I know it seems like sinners have a lot of fun and they don’t have any problems. That’s just a smoke screen and we shouldn’t envy their lifestyles. God has a great reward for us in heaven, we just have to keep the faith and hold on to his unchanging hand.

Proverbs 23:17-18
Don’t envy sinners,
but always continue to fear the LORD. You will be rewarded for this; your hope will not be disappointed.

Good And Bad Times

Good morning. We’ve all experienced good times and bad times. When we’re in the good times, we’re smiling and happy and praising God. When we’re in the bad times there’s not much praising God, little to no happiness and definitely no smiling. Have we ever stopped to think that God made both the good and bad times happen? God knows exactly what he’s doing so rejoice in both the good and bad times. No matter what time we’re experiencing in our lives we should be grateful because there’s someone else who’s worse off than us.

Ecclesiastes 7:14
When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other.
Therefore, no one can discover
anything about their future.

Stop Being So Angry

Good morning. There’s no need to get angry over every little thing. Being angry doesn’t change the situation, however, it does change us. It changes our character, it changes our attitude, if we’re not careful it changes our appearance by placing wrinkles in our face and it ultimately makes us look foolish. Nobody wants to talk to or be around an angry person. If we’re wondering why friends are few, co-workers are acting strange, or family members don’t call as much; let’s check our attitude and see if anger is the reason why. If God is slow to anger, why are we so quick to get angry?

Ecclesiastes 7:9
Control your temper,
for anger labels you a fool.

Work And Save Your Money

Good morning. All money ain’t good money. Working for our money and saving it is better than getting it in a dishonest way. As children of God we shouldn’t be looking for ill-gotten money; this shows our complete trust in man and lack of respect and honor for God. Everything we want, we don’t need. And everything we need God will supply according to his riches in Glory.

Proverbs 13:11
Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Honor Your Body

Good morning. We must honor our bodies. The Holy Spirit resides on the inside of us therefore, we must be mindful how we treat our bodies. We don’t want to damage our bodies by using drugs, alcohol, being gluttons, and committing sexual sins. We must remember that we don’t belong to ourselves, we belong to God and it’s God that we will give an account to.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Give God Glory For His Promises To You

Good morning. If God promised you something you can bank on it. You don’t have to doubt God or his word, he’s not some ordinary man that gives empty promises. Start giving God glory now for what he’s promised you, at any moment it will come to pass.

Romans 4:20-21
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

The Day Of The Lord Is Near

Good morning. If you’re not on the narrow road it’s about time to get on it. One day all of our chances to get right with God is going to run out. The Lord has been warning us but some how we think he’s not for real. Our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The Day of the Lord is vastly approaching and no one will be able to stand. Play time is over! Today we must declare who’s on the Lord side. Put away worldly ways and live holy.

Zephaniah 1:14-15
The great day of the LORD is near —near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the LORD is bitter;the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry. That day will be a day of wrath
a day of distress and anguish,
a day of trouble and ruin,
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness —

I’m Not Arguing With You

Good morning. We don’t have to get upset and argue about every little thing. Learn to let things go. We don’t have to have the last word. In fact, we can have peace if we just stay silent about some things.

Proverbs 17:14
Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam;
so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.
