Court Is In Session

Good morning. It’s one thing to communicate with God. It’s a whole other thing for God to bring us before him and hold court. We may think we’re in control but, when we go to court, we find out quickly the judge has all power and is in control. It will be-hooves us to learn that God is in control of everything. He’s judge, jury, and executioner. He can drop the charges against us or make them stick. He can punish us or cover us with grace and mercy. It’s his call. Don’t provoke God in this season. Talk to God, learn of his ways, live the word, then you won’t have to worry about going before the judge.

Isaiah 41:1
“Listen in silence before me, you lands beyond the sea. Bring your strongest arguments. Come now and speak. The court is ready for your case.

Can God Use You?

Good morning. Have you positioned yourself to be used by God? Can God send you out on a mission for the kingdom or are you still hesitant because of your past? We should be eager to be used by God. That doesn’t mean our assignments will be pretty. When you’re working in the vineyard, you get dirty and stinky. The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. Can God count on us to labor and come out of our pretty houses, cars and clothes, and get dirty for the sake of the Kingdom? The Bible declares; Jesus told Peter; after thou has been converted, go strengthen thy brother. That means, go out and win souls. Soul winning isn’t the prettiest business but, it yields the greatest reward.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Get In God’s Presence

Good morning. If we want real joy, we need to get in the presence of the Lord. It’s good to start practicing being in his presence now if we plan on going to heaven. Not only will we find real joy in the Lord’s presence but, we’ll find peace and an abundance of life.

Psalms 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Come Clean With God

Good morning. When was the last time we came clean with God and acknowledged that we were wrong and rebellious? Before we can get help or ask for forgiveness, we have to acknowledge what we’ve done and who we are. Lord, I’m a sinner please save me. Lord, I’ve rebelled against you, please forgive me and deliver me. Lord, I’m a liar and I give you this lying spirit, cleanse me from the inside out, etc… Don’t be too proud to acknowledge your sins and die and go to hell. Confess your sins to God , get healed and be delivered, and enjoy everlasting life.

Psalms 39:8
Rescue me from my rebellion.
Do not let fools mock me.

When We Suffer The Consequences Of Sin

Good morning. When we’re out sinning and doing everything we want to do under the sun, we don’t look for encouragement and we don’t think about how those connected to us will be affected. It’s not until God deals with us, punishes us, and hands us over to the enemy, that we want to cry foul and woe is me. We have a lot of nerve thinking we can live for the world and won’t have to deal with the consequences. When God punishes us, we’re only getting what we deserve. For the Bible declares; the wages of sin is death but, the gift of God is everlasting life.

Lamentations 1:15-16
“The Lord has treated my mighty men with contempt. At his command a great army has come to crush my young warriors. The Lord has trampled his beloved city like grapes are trampled in a winepress. “For all these things I weep; tears flow down my cheeks. No one is here to comfort me; any who might encourage me are far away. My children have no future, for the enemy has conquered us.”

God’s Spirit Won’t Contend With Man Always

Good morning. It’s a bad day when God turns us over to our enemies because of sin. We better stop playing with God, for the Bible declares; my spirit won’t contend with man always. Let’s not make God regret that he ever made us, like he did in Genesis 6:6. We shouldn’t turn our backs on the one who’s done everything for us. Sin is not worth the penalty we will pay. Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.

Lamentations 1:14
“He wove my sins into ropes to hitch me to a yoke of captivity. The Lord sapped my strength and turned me over to my enemies; I am helpless in their hands.

Don’t Live For The World

Good morning. How we live today affects our tomorrow. Everything we do has consequences, whether good or bad. Our bad decisions can give the enemy victory over our lives. Our turning away from God for worldly pleasures, can cause the enemy to triumph over us. What is the cost of your soul? Is it pleasure for the moment? Is it going along to get along? Is it not wanting to offend anyone? Why go to hell, when the price for our souls have already been paid to go to heaven.

Lamentations 1:9
She defiled herself with immorality and gave no thought to her future. Now she lies in the gutter
with no one to lift her out. “LORD, see my misery,” she cries. “The enemy has triumphed.”

God Will Strip Us

Good morning. The Lord has no problem stripping us if we refuse to repent for our sins. We can keep letting the world hype us, thinking we can live any kind of way. We are not equipped to deal with the wrath of God. When God strips us everyone will know, it will not be done in secret, for the Bible declares; an open rebuke is better than a secret love. Don’t tempt God!Don’t think you’re above God’s judgement. Don’t think you can keep hiding behind cliche’s. Our sins will get us tossed out of the sight of God. We cannot afford to be out of the presence of God.

Lamentations 1:8
Jerusalem has sinned greatly, so she has been tossed away like a filthy rag. All who once honored her now despise her, for they have seen her stripped naked and humiliated. All she can do is groan and hide her face.

Hold On To God’s Unchanging Hand

Good morning. When we’re going through the storms of life, sometimes it feels like God is not concerned about us. That’s a lie the enemy tells us because God is not showing up as fast as we would like him to. Not only does God see what we’re going through, he cares about what we’re going through. In trying times we have to press our way, pray our way, and praise our way through. Don’t give up on God because things get hard and you can’t feel him or hear him. Hold on to God’s unchanging hand.

Psalms 22:1-2
“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away when I groan for help? Every day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer. Every night I lift my voice, but I find no relief.

Man And Money Ain’t Worth God And My Relationship

Good morning. What master do we serve? Where does our priorities lie? We have to make up our minds; if we’re going to serve God wholeheartedly or turn our backs on him; there’s no in between. We have to make up our minds; if we’re going to serve money and trust only in it and forget about God; there’s no in between. Nothing and no one is worth leaving God for. We can’t allow temporary things to replace a permanent and everlasting relationship with the Lord. People and money can’t save, deliver, or redeem us. However, they can destroy us, blind us, and send us to grave; where in hell we will lift up our eyes.

Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
