You Don’t Scare Me

Good morning. As children of God we don’t have to be scared of anything or anyone. We can stand boldly on the word and know that if Satan comes for us he will have to contend with God. The Bible declares; if God before me, who can be against me? Therefore, we don’t have fear man or Satan.

Philippians 1:28 Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.

Make Do

Good morning. Whether times are good or hard we need to learn how to make do. In the good and plentiful times we need to learn how to store up and hold something back, because hard times will come. When hard times come, we need not murmur and complain. We need to thank God and place whatever we have in his hands and let him multiply it. It’s not about how much or how little we have; it’s about what we do with it.

Philippians 4:12
I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.

No Time For Negativity

Good morning. We don’t have time to be negative when God has been so good to us. The mere fact we’re still alive is reason to have a positive outlook on life. So, start praising and thanking God and leave Negative Nancy alone.

Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Loose Lips Sinks Ships

Good morning. Some people just talk to hear themselves. Are you a detriment to yourself because you talk too much? Do you know when to be quiet? Have you told the enemy all your plans and desires? Silence is okay, it may even save your life. Many people have been hurt, many deals have been lost, and many relationships have been destroyed all because someone went too far in their speech; they had to have the last word, they had to get someone told, they just couldn’t let things go and be quiet. Sometimes we need to study to be quiet and let God do all the talking.

Proverbs 13:3 Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.

Treat Everybody Right

Good morning. We can’t pick and choose who we’re going to treat right. God commands us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves and to do unto people what we will have them do unto us. We wouldn’t curse ourselves out, so don’t do it to others. We wouldn’t steal from ourselves, so don’t do it to others. We wouldn’t start damaging rumors about ourselves, so don’t do it to others. Nothing we do can be hidden from God, so we might as well do the right thing.

Isaiah 56:1
This is what the LORD says: Be just and fair to all.
Do what is right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you and to display my righteousness among you.

We Have An Obligation

Good morning. The Bible declares; the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and it also declares; the conclusion of the whole matter is to fear the Lord. In other words, we have an obligation to be obedient to the Lord. For we will have an eternal accountability that we will have to answer for, whether it be good or bad. Therefore, let’s not shuck our obligation to the Lord, thinking if we pay it no mind then we won’t have to give an account to God. Please, let’s not fool ourselves into thinking we can sidestep God.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad.

Where Are You

Good morning. Where are you at with your relationship with God? Are you hiding from him because you’ve been disobedient and refuse to repent? Are you hiding your praise and worship because Satan has you thinking you can’t be redeemed? Are you hiding your gifts, skills, talents, and abilities because you’re afraid of what people might say? Wherever you’re at, you need to come before the Lord and repent, for he’s faithful and just to forgive your sins. Get back in line with the Lord and go and do what he’s commanded you to do.

Genesis 3:8-10
When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the LORD God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the LORD God among the trees. Then the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?”
He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”

Not Guilty

Good morning. Thank God that people don’t have a heaven or hell to put us in. Thank God that when we accepted Jesus in our lives our death sentence was erased and we were declared not guilty. Don’t worry about what people say about you. Only be concerned with what God has to say and what God thinks about you. He has declared you free. He’s snatched you out of bondage therefore, don’t let anyone put you back in bondage. Enjoy your life free in Christ.

Romans 8:1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

Open Your Eyes And See What’s Going On

Good morning. How can we be partying and at ease when we see so much destruction in the land? People are homeless, jobless, hopeless, hungry and lost. Yet, we’re planning lavish parties and going on about our business because calamity has not dawned our door. We’re not praying for others, seeking God for how we should help, nor are we concerned about others plight in life. As long as we are fine, have enough food to eat, and enough money to pay our bills, we are not concerned about others. We need to open our eyes to what’s going on around us. God has given us plenty and to much is given, much is required. Don’t be at ease with your lifestyle, because you can be up today and down tomorrow.

Amos 6:1 Woe to them that are at ease in Zion,
and trust in the mountain of Samaria,
which are named chief of the nations,
to whom the house of Israel came!
