Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That

Good morning. Have you ever told God; “ain’t nobody got time for that”, after he’s given you an assignment to do? Perhaps you didn’t say it aloud but your actions conveyed that you were not going to comply. You didn’t find yourself in the belly of a fish like Jonah, but you did find that everything you put your hands to falls apart. Every venture you try doesn’t work out in your favor. You’re losing money, sleep, and patience. Until you’re ready to hear God and obey God, things will never work in your favor. Therefore, I suggest you find time to do whatever assignment God gives you.

Jonah 1:1-3
The LORD gave this message to Jonah son of Amittai: “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh. Announce my judgment against it because I have seen how wicked its people are.” But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the LORD. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the LORD by sailing to Tarshish.

#Thanksliving

Good morning. This is the season of thanksgiving and it should be the season of thanksliving as well. With everything the world has faced in the past two years, we aught to be thankful we’re still here and that Jesus has had mercy on us. Instead of showing ourselves to the priest, we aught to present our bodies as a living sacrifice; holy and acceptable to God which is our reasonable service and that’s thanksliving.

Luke 17:11-19
As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.”

I’m Not Going Out Like This

Good morning. It’s good to surround ourselves with other believers. When the enemy tries to knock us down and count us out, it’s nothing like having believers around you to pray you through. In this season we don’t need to be around people that have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof. We need to be surrounded by people that have a relationship with God and a prayer life. We need to be surrounded by people that walk in the power and authority they possess through the Holy Spirit, so when the enemy comes they’ll let the enemy know; we’re not going out like that.

Acts 14:19-20
Then some Jews arrived from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowds to their side. They stoned Paul and dragged him out of town, thinking he was dead. But as the believers gathered around him, he got up and went back into the town. The next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe.

Good morning. None of us have the right to condemn each other. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Before we go condemning others we better check our lives. God knows everything we’ve done and no matter how we try to hide from others, we will talk to him about it when he calls us on the carpet. So, it’s best for us to just repent and mind our own business and clean up our lifestyles.

Romans 14:10-11So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. For the Scriptures say,“‘As surely as I live,’ says the LORD,‘every knee will bend to me,and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.’”

Lord Help

Good morning. Sometimes Help is a whole prayer all within itself. We won’t always be able to say a long drawn out prayer, but if we say; Lord Help, he knows everything we’re standing in need of. For one person; help, may mean save my children, for another person; help, may mean Lord don’t let me say nothing crazy at work because I need my job. We serve an all knowing God, so the next time you feel as though you can’t pray; just cry out to the Lord and say help and watch him work it out.

Exodus 15:24-25
Then the people complained and turned against Moses. “What are we going to drink?” they demanded. So Moses cried out to the LORD for help, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. Moses threw it into the water, and this made the water good to drink. It was there at Marah that the LORD set before them the following decree as a standard to test their faithfulness to him.

Please Speak Lord

Good morning. Let’s face it, there are times in our lives when God is silent and we want him to speak clearly to us. There are time when we question God and say; Lord do you see? Do you care about what I’m going through? Not only does the Lord see and hear, but he cares for us. Just because we can’t hear him, doesn’t mean he’s not working on our behalf. Continue to remain faithful and trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Psalms 83:1
O God, do not be silent! Do not be deaf. Do not be quiet, O God.

Turn & Obey The Lord

Good morning. When we don’t listen to God and we don’t want him around he’ll let our enemies have their way with us. God wants to deliver us from the hand of the enemy, but our disobedience stays his hands. Many of us could’ve been out of the situation in which we find ourselves in, but we’re too stubborn to turn to God. We rather keep doing our own thing and leaning to our own understanding, meanwhile; Satan is laughing at us and wreaking havoc in our lives. God will not move on our behalf until we turn and obey.

Psalms 81:11-14
“But no, my people wouldn’t listen. Israel did not want me around. So I let them follow their own stubborn desires, living according to their own ideas. Oh, that my people would listen to me! Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths! How quickly I would then subdue their enemies! How soon my hands would be upon their foes!

What Is God’s Testimony Concerning You?

Good morning. Can God brag on us like he bragged on Job? Does God have the same testimony about us like he had about Job? If God cannot testify we are men and women of complete integrity, then that’s a problem. If God cannot testify that we stay away from evil and fear him, then that’s a problem. If God cannot testify that even in the midst of calamity and utter disaster we’ve maintained our integrity and still had a praise on our lips, then that’s a problem. Our desire should be for God to testify to anyone about us even Satan himself, because our character doesn’t waiver when things get a bit too hard.

Job 2:3
Then the LORD asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil. And he has maintained his integrity, even though you urged me to harm him without cause.”

Enjoy Who & What You Have For The Moment

Good morning. God has given us things and people to enjoy while we’re here on earth. Rest assure none of it or them will go with us when we die. There will be no uhaul behind the hersh or no one jumping in the coffin to lay in the grave with us. We need to enjoy the people in our lives and things we’ve been given, and praise the Lord for them while their here and when he takes them away. Everything that happens to us in this life is in God’s plan.

Job 1:21
He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!”

Nothing Should Stop Our Worship

Good morning. No matter what’s going on in our lives, worship is still required. We can be grieving the death of a loved one, we still must worship the Lord. Our marriage can be falling apart, we still must worship the Lord. Our children can be acting out and acting up, we still must worship the Lord. Absolutely nothing should stop our worship.

Job 1:20
Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship.
