Good morning. Greed can cause a person to do all sorts of things such as; lie, cheat, steal, and even kill. When we’re greedy for money and power we’re setting a trap for ourselves. As children of God, we don’t have to be greedy for money and power, for the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Our God will supply all of our needs according to his riches and glory. Let’s not deprive ourselves of life trying to get a dollar or power.

Proverbs 1:17-19
If a bird sees a trap being set,
it knows to stay away. But these people set an ambush for themselves; they are trying to get themselves killed. Such is the fate of all who are greedy for money; it robs them of life.

Good morning. We must remain steadfast, unmovable, and faithful even in the face of persecution. God never said this Christian walk would be easy. In fact, the Lord told his disciples; if the world hates you, know that they hated me first. We don’t serve the Lord based off how other people treat us. We served the Lord for who he is. He is the savior of the world. He is our redeemer. He is our deliverer. He is the I AM.

2 Thessalonians 1:4
We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.

Good morning. As Christians, there are some things we just can’t do and say. For the sake of our souls and the sake of the kingdom, it’s best that we obey God and avoid certain things. We’re not missing out on anything when we choose to obey the Lord. Remember, sin looks fun until you end up in hell.

Ephesians 5:4
Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.

Good morning. If we’re looking for someone as a role model, we need to look no further. The greatest role model is Christ. He will show us how to carry ourselves. He will teach us how to uphold our character. He will not make us to be ashamed that we chose to look up to him. This is what a true role model does.

Good morning. Our behavior will show if we’re wise or worldly. All throughout the Bible the Lord speaks on our conduct as children of God. Our behavior is always on display for the world to know who we believe in. Sadly, many Christians sends mixed messages; saying they love the Lord but, entertain Satan. They’re no better than a person saying; I’m happily married but, still want to see if I have what it takes to get with someone else.

James 3:13
If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.

Good morning. No matter what you do, sometimes, people are just not going to like you. When you know you’re doing the right thing in the sight of God and you’re still being met with opposition, don’t get discouraged. Keep doing what’s right. People will be people and you have to learn to place them in God’s hands. God is not blind and he see’s everything you’re going through. Remain faithful and watch him reward you for doing what’s right.

1 Peter 3:13-14
Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.

Good morning. If we really want to enjoy life we need to learn how to be quiet. It’s hard to tell lies and bear false witness when we’re quiet. It’s hard to be in the middle of mess when we’re quiet. Furthermore, it’s easier to hear when we’re quiet.

keep your tongue from speaking evil

Good morning. The same love and compassion the Lord has shown us, we need to show to one another. We must learn to be sympathetic towards each other as well because it could be us that will fall on hard times and need help. We don’t know each other plights in life, nevertheless, time and chance happens to us all. So, none of us have room to puff our chest out or turn our nose up at anyone.

1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

Good morning. There is no time and no room to complain. The only thing we have time and room for is to bless the name of the Lord; to thank him, for all he’s done and all he’s going to do. When we look back over our lives and see how God shielded and protected us from our foolishness, that’s enough to give him praise and thanksgiving. When we know many of us we’re not fit to live but not ready to die and the Lord spared our lives, that’s enough to give him praise and thanksgiving. Every time we get ready to complain we should just think of the goodness of the Lord and begin to give him praise and thanksgiving.

Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Good morning. Let us never forget we’re nothing without God. We are not self-made men or self-made women. Everything we are is because of him. We belong to a mighty, good, and awesome God. So let’s lift up our voices and praise the Lord for who he is.
