What We Believe Will Show In The Way We Act

Good morning. Let’s not act religious and deny the power of God. Let’s not act religious and have no relationship with the Lord. When we act, we’re taking on the character of a script that someone else wrote. We’re playing a role that God never intended for us to play. God gave us a script and it’s the Bible. He gave us our roles, he said; we’re fearfully and wonderfully made. The character he wants us to display is his character. The Bible declares; if we abide in him, he will abide in us. The Bible also declares; “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”. Therefore, we can walk in his power and authority. Bottom line, what we believe will show in the way we act.

2 Timothy 3:5
They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Don’t Lie To The Holy Spirit

Good morning. Do you want to die real fast? Then lie to the Holy Spirit. We cannot withhold or hide anything. We serve El-Roi the all-seeing God or the God who sees me. So, don’t commit sin then try to lie about it. Don’t get paid then try to skimp on your tithes and act like you’re giving God what’s due him. You’re playing a dangerous game with your life. Just think; what if you die in the midst of lying to the Holy Spirit and don’t get a chance to repent. In hell will you lift up your eyes, for the Bible declares; a liar won’t tarry in the sight of God.

Acts 5:3-5
Then Peter said, “Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself. The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was also yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren’t lying to us but to God!” As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died. Everyone who heard about it was terrified.

Hard Assignments

Good morning. Has God ever given you an assignment and you felt overwhelmed? Did you feel like he hung you out dry or set you up for failure? Many times God doesn’t handout glorious assignments. Working in the vineyard of the Lord is hard, laborious work. But, it’s also meaningful, fulfilling work. Don’t give up on your assignment because you feel it’s too hard. God never said you had to do it alone. He never said he wouldn’t equip you or provide for you. You be obedient in what he’s called you to do and watch him move on your behalf. Many of us make our assignments harder than they are when we try to cut corners, complain, or simply give up and quit. Don’t quit on God, he’s been too good to you.

Jeremiah 20:7
O LORD, you misled me, and I allowed myself to be misled. You are stronger than I am, and you overpowered me. Now I am mocked every day;
everyone laughs at me.

God Will Turn It Around

Good morning. Have you ever been down and in deep despair? Have you ever thought ; this is it, I can’t recover from this? Then God showed up! With just one word or one touch, he turned the situation around. He turned sorrow into joy. He turned trials into triumph. He turned bitterness into sweetness. No matter what you’re facing, don’t give up on God. For they that wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Psalms 30:11-12
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever!

Knowing God As A Healer

Good morning. When we get a bad diagnosis from the doctor we have a choice to either accept the diagnosis and turn it over to the Lord, or act superficial and think the doctor is wrong because we’re children of God. Look, children of God get sick. God gave the doctors knowledge to be able to tell us what’s wrong. Accepting the diagnosis doesn’t mean you don’t have faith. Accepting the diagnosis means you go some sense and you’re willing to face it. When we’re sick in our bodies, we get to see Jehovah-Rapha the God who heals show up. There’s one thing to say God is a healer, but there’s another thing to know God is a healer. So, if your sick, call on the Lord and let him restore your health in his timing.

Psalms 30:2
O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.

God Blocked It

Good morning. When God is moving on your behalf, your enemies don’t stand a chance. Yes, the weapon will form, but it won’t prosper. If you call upon the Lord in the time of trouble, he’ll rescue you, he’ll deliver you and he’ll hide you from the enemy. So, rejoice in the Lord and bless his name. Magnify his name on high. Sing his praises, for if it had not been for the Lord who was on your side, your enemies would have consumed you. They would have triumphed over you, but God wouldn’t let it be so.

Psalms 30:1
I will exalt you, LORD, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me.

Friends; How Many Of Us Have Them?

Good morning. A real friend will tell us when we’re wrong. They are not purposely trying to hurt our feelings, but it may happen in the process. Since we know they’re not coming from a place of maliciousness, our friendships shouldn’t be ruined. If we can’t take correction from a true friend, do we really think we can take correction from God? For, he sends people to work on his behalf. And, he’s a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Perhaps, we don’t want true friends. Perhaps, we’d rather have people around us that would like to see us make our beds in hell, by laughing and going along with everything we do. Those type of people are not true friends, they’re potential roommates in hell.

Proverbs 27:6
Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.

Learning From God Means Asking Questions

Good morning. Older saints use to always say; don’t question God. However, God desires for us to ask him questions and to communicate with him. Get before the Lord and ask all the questions you want. Now, you may not like some of the answers you receive, but at least you’re not wondering and thinking; if I would of, could of, should of. If we’re ever going to learn from God, we have to ask him some questions.

Jeremiah 33:2-3
“This is what the LORD says—the LORD who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the LORD: Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.

Don’t Let People Know Everything You Know

Good morning. Nobody likes a know it all. Sometimes, we have to let people learn information on their on. Sometimes, even if we know the answer, we have to be quiet. Sometimes, people are not asking us for the answers, they are just venting and want to be heard. We must learn when to share our knowledge and when to be silent even when we know the answers. Only fools tell everything they know.

Proverbs 12:23
The wise don’t make a show of their knowledge, but fools broadcast their foolishness.

Snap Out Of Your Fantasy World

Good morning. We all have dreams and goals. We know that it takes hard work to accomplish our dreams and goals. We shouldn’t fool ourselves into thinking we can have something in this life without working for it. If we think for one moment success, dreams, and goals just happen; we’re living in a fantasy world. If we don’t work towards our goals and dreams and expect people to help us and provide for us, we’ve just placed ourselves in the poverty line. For the Bible declares; a man that doesn’t work, doesn’t eat.

Proverbs 12:11
A hard worker has plenty of food,
but a person who chases fantasies has no sense.
