Hold On To God’s Unchanging Hand

Good morning. When we’re going through the storms of life, sometimes it feels like God is not concerned about us. That’s a lie the enemy tells us because God is not showing up as fast as we would like him to. Not only does God see what we’re going through, he cares about what we’re going through. In trying times we have to press our way, pray our way, and praise our way through. Don’t give up on God because things get hard and you can’t feel him or hear him. Hold on to God’s unchanging hand.

Psalms 22:1-2
“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away when I groan for help? Every day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer. Every night I lift my voice, but I find no relief.

Man And Money Ain’t Worth God And My Relationship

Good morning. What master do we serve? Where does our priorities lie? We have to make up our minds; if we’re going to serve God wholeheartedly or turn our backs on him; there’s no in between. We have to make up our minds; if we’re going to serve money and trust only in it and forget about God; there’s no in between. Nothing and no one is worth leaving God for. We can’t allow temporary things to replace a permanent and everlasting relationship with the Lord. People and money can’t save, deliver, or redeem us. However, they can destroy us, blind us, and send us to grave; where in hell we will lift up our eyes.

Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.

Lord Give Me Just Enough For Today

Good morning. Have we ever just asked God to give us our portion for the day? We didn’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will take care of itself. Instead of always asking for an abundance, sometimes, we need to ask for enough just for today. Lord give me what I can handle today; nothing more, and nothing less. After all, Jesus taught his disciples to pray this way.

Matthew 6:11
Give us this day our daily bread.

At God’s Appointed Time

Good morning. Many times we feel like God doesn’t hear us when we’re going through situations and circumstances. He hears us and he cares but, he wants us to learn a lesson as well. It’s ok to ask him, how long God, when will this end God? At his appointed time, not when we feel most uncomfortable, will he deliver us and it won’t be a second too soon.

Psalms 13:2
How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?

Stop Raising Hell On Your Way To Heaven

Good morning. God never called us to be hell- raisers. He never said we could be justified for acting out and throwing temper-tantrums. He called us to live in peace and to be thankful. It’s hard to thank God and raise hell at the same time. We don’t serve Satan, so we should stop acting like it. Always getting mad, helps no one. Always ready to curse someone out, helps no one. Always being negative-Nancy, helps no one. It only hurts us and our relationship with the Lord. Today, let’s start fresh. Let’s thank God for his patience, grace and mercy. Let’s not get mad on purpose. Let’s show the love of Jesus, instead of the hate of Satan. We have a choice and we can choose to live in peace or not.

Colossians 3:15
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

Remember Where God Brought Us From

Good morning. We are so quick to give up on others when they mess up. We become so self-righteous and begin to put them down, instead of trying to help lift them up. We totally forget that we were once wretches undone. We totally forget that God didn’t give up on us when we messed up, he loved us to life. Let’s not forget where God brought us from. Let’s not be so holy-bound that we’re no earthly-good.

Colossians 3:13
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

We Can’t Get Away With Anything

Good morning. Instead of trying to do things our way and lean to our own understanding, it’s just easier to obey the Lord. We should never forget we serve an all-seeing, all-knowing God. We can’t get away with anything. Therefore, walk upright before the Lord and please him by being obedient.

Psalms 119:168
Yes, I obey your commandments and laws because you know everything I do.

Who’s Approval Are We Trying To Get?

Good morning. We must decide if we’re looking for approval from people or God. If we want approval from people, then by all means, become their puppet and miss out on heaven. But, if we want approval from God, then by all means, we must submit to his will and surrender our all to him.

Galatians 1:10
Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Don’t Destroy Yourself

Good morning. We have to know what the word of God says for ourselves. If we never read the word, people will be able to fool us into believing another doctrine. But, when we know what the word of God says; it doesn’t matter what doctrine other people come with, we will not be moved. Don’t neglect your study of the word. When we neglect to study the word of God, how do we even know that the preacher is preaching the truth? The Bible declares; my people perish for a lack of knowledge.

Galatians 1:6-7
I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.

Shut Up Sometimes

Good morning. The best way for us to stay out of trouble and to keep our name out of mess, is for us to be quiet. If we’re not talking, no one can say; we said this or we said that. Saved or unsaved, our tongues can be fire-starters. We can all learn to study to be quiet.

Proverbs 21:23
Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble.
