Forgive Quickly

Good morning. We show the love of God when we forgive others for doing us wrong. We block our forgiveness from God and our blessings when we choose not to forgive, putting our souls at risk of eternal damnation. Also, we risk ruining friendships and relationships when choose not to forgive. We cannot afford to play God with our souls. We’ve done too much wrong and we commit unknown sin at times, and we need God’s forgiveness. Just think, if we die holding a grudge and refusing to forgive; where do you really think we’ll end up? For the Bible declares; only the pure in heart shall see the Lord.

Proverbs 17:9
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.

Take The Correction

Good morning. Many times we don’t like to be corrected because we’re grown. Newsflash! Grown people make mistakes, walk in error and they don’t know everything. We must be willing to learn, be willing to be corrected or suffer the consequences. God is teaching us things daily, but if we’re stuck in a carnal mindset, we’re not trying to learn spiritual things. We just want the title Christian and the worldly ways. We aught to be grateful that God loves us enough to correct us and chastise us.

Proverbs 12:1
To learn, you must love discipline;
it is stupid to hate correction.

What Will It Take For You To Repent?

Good morning. When we look over our lives and see all the sin we’ve committed, then we see how good God has been to us, it aught to cause us to repent. When we think about how we crucify Jesus daily with our sins and He still says; behold I stand at the door and knock, that aught to cause us to repent. When we know without a shadow of a doubt we should’ve been dead, sleeping in our graves because of sin, but God showed us grace and mercy, that aught to cause us to repent. In all of God’s goodness and mercy we need not take it for granted. We need to repent and walk on the straight and narrow path. For the Bible declares, my spirit won’t contend with man always.

Romans 2:4
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Speak To Your Soul

Good morning. When we look back over our lives sometimes it makes us breakout in a praise or it makes us begin to worship. We begin to bless the Lord and tell Him how good He is. We begin to think about, if it had not been for the Lord who was on my side. We begin to tell someone else how good God’s been and when we really get happy we tell them ; O! Magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together. No matter what you’re going through, begin to think on the goodness of the Lord and speak to your soul, and tell your soul to bless the Lord. Tell your soul, to rejoice in the Lord.

Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

We Don’t Need To Speak On Everything We See

Good morning. We have a choice to make when we see someone in sin. We can either put them on blast and let the world know or we can cover them in prayer and let God decide how and when He will expose them. If we choose to put them on blast, there will be consequences and repercussions that can affect not only us, but our blood line. If we choose to cover them in prayer, the blessings of the Lord will follow. We have to be careful how we choose. Remember when we meet God face to face, He’s not going to ask us about what the world did; He’s going to ask us to give an account for every deed done in this body.

Genesis 9:20-27
After the flood, Noah began to cultivate the ground, and he planted a vineyard. One day he drank some wine he had made, and he became drunk and lay naked inside his tent. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw that his father was naked and went outside and told his brothers. Then Shem and Japheth took a robe, held it over their shoulders, and backed into the tent to cover their father. As they did this, they looked the other way so they would not see him naked. When Noah woke up from his stupor, he learned what Ham, his youngest son, had done. Then he cursed Canaan, the son of Ham: “May Canaan be cursed! May he be the lowest of servants to his relatives.” Then Noah said, “May the LORD, the God of Shem, be blessed, and may Canaan be his servant! May God expand the territory of Japheth! May Japheth share the prosperity of Shem, and may Canaan be his servant.”

Nothing Is Hidden From God

Good morning. As children of God, we can’t get away with nothing. We are without excuse. No matter what lies or justifications we tell people, God sees and hears it all. He will deal with us according to our actions. It’s best we tell the truth and be upfront and honest with people because we can’t afford the price we’ll have to pay for being dishonest.

Proverbs 24:12
Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

No Time To Complain

Good morning. Many of us don’t like going through trials. In fact, when they come upon us we say; Lord why me? When trials come, we get to see what God has placed on the inside of us, we get to learn, we get to exercise our faith and most of all, we get to see God work. So, let’s stop complaining about what we’re going through and let’s start saying; class is in session. The Lord is teaching me some things about myself I didn’t even realize was in me. The Lord is working on my behalf, so I’ll just go through this and get out of it everything God has for me. Cursing and complaining just shows how immature we still are and our lack of spiritual growth.

James 1:2-4
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Run Your Plans By God First

Good morning. It’s nothing like making a plan and your plan fails. When our plans fail, do we ever stop and think what went wrong? Do we see if we ran our plans by God to see what He thought? Many times our plans fail because we neglect to include God. We think we can just make a plan and God is supposed to follow our lead. In actuality, we are supposed to consult with God before we even start making our plans. Let’s stop failing at stuff we know we can succeed in. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto us.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit your actions to the LORD,
and your plans will succeed.

The Lord Knows Our Motives

Good morning. Whether good or bad, we all have motives for why we do things. We reason and justify in our minds the actions we take. We reason and justify in our minds the behavior we display. It doesn’t matter how much reasoning and justifying we do, God examines our heart and He will expose if we’re acting out of a pure or deceitful heart.

Proverbs 16:2
People may be pure in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their motives.

Shortcuts

Good morning. Why are we in a hurry to get places and complete tasks? Why don’t we slow down and enjoy the view from where we’re at? What’s wrong with taking the long way around sometimes? When we take shortcuts in life we can count on it coming back on us. If we take shortcuts in building something, we can look for it to crumble at some point and time. If we take shortcuts in the instructions God gave us, surely destruction will follow at some point and time. Let’s not be so in a rush, that we overlook a detail, go the wrong way or worse, bring calamity upon ourselves and our family all because we wanted to take a shortcut.

Proverbs 21:5
Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.
