Don’t Be A Bad Neighbor

Good morning. No one likes bad neighbors. You know the neighbors that’s always loud, plays music all times of the day, keeps their yard nasty, don’t pick up after their animals, etc… No one moves in the neighborhood with the intentions of having to fuss and fight with neighbors. People in the neighborhood desires peace and quiet. We must be mindful of this if we are the rude, loud, and confrontational neighbor. As children of God we should be letting our light shine. Look at how many people we can win to Christ with just our behavior.

Proverbs 11:12
It is foolish to belittle one’s neighbor; a sensible person keeps quiet.

Money Won’t Help Us Out Of This

Good morning. No amount of money can stop the judgement of Jesus Christ. The Lord cannot be bought. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, so what can our little riches do for him? The Bible declares; some trust in chariots and some trust in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. If we want to make it to heaven, then we must live holy. We must walk upright before the Lord.

Proverbs 11:4
Riches won’t help on the day of judgment, but right living can save you from death.

Don’t Be Lazy

Good morning. There’s no need to beg God for a job, get the job, then complain about the job and be lazy on the job. Whatever work we do, we’re supposed to work as if we’re working for the Lord. We must always remember, our character is on display. The God we say we serve is on display. We don’t serve a lazy, slothful God. We serve an all seeing, omnipotent God. We must watch how we put God on display. Go into work today and don’t complain. Go into work on time today. Go into work and don’t let the boss have to talk negative to you today. Remember, you asked and begged God for the job.

Proverbs 10:26
Lazy people irritate their employers,
like vinegar to the teeth or smoke in the eyes.

It’s Ok To Be Quiet

Good morning. Keep talking and eventually you’ll lie. It’s ok to be quiet. It’s ok not to speak on everything you see. Just remember, we will give an account for every idle word and a liar won’t tarry in the sight of God.

Proverbs 10:19
Too much talk leads to sin.
Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.

We Will Not Go Hungry

Good morning. No matter what’s going on in the world, those of us who trust in God will not go hungry. Job loss, we’re still going to eat. Pay cut, we’re still going to eat. In between blessings, we’re still going to eat. The Bible declares; I will never leave you, nor forsake you, nor have my seed begging bread. Don’t stop trusting in the Lord.

Proverbs 10:3
The LORD will not let the godly go hungry, but he refuses to satisfy the craving of the wicked.

God’s Been So Good

Good morning. When was the last time we thought about the goodness of God and all he’s done for us? God is a promise keeper, miracle worker, way maker, and everything else we need him to be. When we think about God’s goodness, it should make us want to do better and be better. Every time we think about complaining, we should remember how good God’s been to us and start praising. What a mighty God we serve.

Psalms 119:65
You have done many good things for me, LORD, just as you promised.

Move With Quickness

Good morning. Growing up, when our parents told us to do something, we better had obeyed and moved with the quickness. God wants that same response. When he tells us to do something, he wants obedience, no hesitation and no procrastination. Let’s move with the quickness when we hear God calling our name and issuing out commands.

Psalms 119:60 I will hurry, without delay,
to obey your commands.

Watch Who You’re Getting Advice From

Good morning. Have you ever tried getting advice from a fool? Everything they said made no sense at all. Did you ever think; what made me ask that person for advice? The Bible declares; blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly. We need to stop seeking advice from ungodly people and expecting godly results. Taking advice from wise godly people will do our souls good.

Proverbs 15:7
The lips of the wise give good advice; the heart of a fool has none to give.

Treat People Right

Good morning. We must speak gentle to people. We don’t know what others are going through and a kind word can be just what they need to make it through the day. If there’s deceit in our hearts, we need to pray and ask the Lord to pluck it up from the root. As the Bible declares, do unto others as you will have them do unto you. If we wouldn’t hurt ourselves, why would we hurt someone else?

Proverbs 15:4
Gentle words are a tree of life;
a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

Don’t Die And Go To Hell

Good morning. Let’s not fool ourselves into thinking we’re getting away with anything. God sees everything. He may not respond to our wrongdoing and sin immediately, but rest assured he will deal with us accordingly. Repent! While the blood is running warm in your veins, while the Lord is graciously giving you time. Don’t die and go to hell, it’s not where you want to spend eternity.

Proverbs 15:3
The LORD is watching everywhere,
keeping his eye on both the evil and the good.
